Yeah it's a new projection display with the stage show. Projections can't replace points of light in my opinion.
I hope they get backlash from this decision. But they probably won’t.

If they receive good feedback in the slightest of forms for the new offering then its highly unlikely I would assume. This makes me think they've decided the Dream Lights won't be returning ever. Pity...

An executive would consider it a 10/10 show after reading such feedback"My toddler who is literally impressed by jingling keys loves it!" comments incoming.
I don’t think the two are connected and TDO is not touching SSE............Off topic but WDW continuing to be determined to eliminate all tiny points of light sure doesn’t say much for the nighttime parade rumor coming to fruition next year. And if it does they’ll probably try to stick that behind a paywall to.
Yup.So was dreamlights the mast minute cancellation?
Dear Iger,
I wouldn’t mind if you spend some of the $17 billion on Christmas lights and Dream lights
I believe the official name was Castle Dream Lights.Heck Dream lights for the castle and Dreamlights nighttime parade lol.
I don’t remember exactly but why did they call the castle lights Dreamlights? Did someone at WDW decide they’ll take the name from Tokyos nighttime parade and use it for the Cinderella castle lights?
Very Merry has always been the cheap knock off of Not So Scary, at least to my family. We’ve done both many times and we still prefer Not So Scary. The only thing I’ll give Very Merry is they have the better fireworks show.Maybe it’s just me but I’m in the camp that thinks these two events are not exciting one bit nor worth the price increase. MVMCP is the same old entertainment with a new boreing projection show that replaced something awesome. And Jollywood sounds boreing as crap IMO.
Early on (back in late 2000's), both were excellent. Both had equal value for me and were special in it's own way. This was before the current regimes value engineering of the events in an effort to maximize profit.Very Merry has always been the cheap knock off of Not So Scary, at least to my family.
