Wallet and Purse

Does anyone else clear out their wallet when they travel?
I was paying for something today, and it occurred to me how many things currently in my wallet I'll be leaving at home when I travel in December.
Like, I won't bring my library card, gas station card, movie rewards card, etc.
Ladies, same question as to your purse or whatever.

I use an iPhone case that has a compartment that fits one credit card, insurance card, and my driver's license. That's all I usually take. My wife has a wristlet that fits her phone, KTTWs (for all of us), driver's license, credit card, and a little cash.
What case is this?

yes- it's amazing how much junk I carry around! Every store has a stinking reward card- I have a whole wallet full of just those!
I don't carry any of those for which I can just input my phone number. That helps in not having to carry all those around.

I always go through my wallet just before we leave, removing anything I dont think I will need to have along with me. I do make a list of all our ADR's and any other event confirmation numbers and place them inside. I also make sure any contact number I might need are up to date. Tuck away some emergency cash, Disney gift cards, and my resort ph #. Sure is funny how slimmed down my wallet gets whenever I am going to Disney.:D

I have a separate wallet that holds my license, cc and AP's along with a spot for my phone. It also has a separate section for fastpasses. Bought it for golf, but didn't realize how good is was for disney.

Well, I take a waterproof aluminum wallet. Yes, all that is in it are my credit cards, my drivers license, my proof of insurance and my medical insurance card. Any other information I may need is usually accessible through my phone.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.
I always empty my wallet out of all useless rubbish before we go. My DW has a dedicated Disney wallet. Also try and get a couple of good condition local notes. It always suprises people that our currency is only accepted in our island which is approximatley 1/2 the size of WDW

The last two times I've gone, I just left my purse at home and didn't bring my whole wallet. I take out my id (never know if I'll need it, but always a good idea to have), some cash, my credit card and my debit card. The last time I went, I used a Vera Bradley wristlet. I also just bring my camera and place everything I use except my wristlet in my backpack.

Many years ago my Scottish pound note was rejected by a shop in North Wales. Does Guernsey accept the €. .
That reminds of my daughter's last trip to Scotland. She and a friend made a side trip to England, and a clerk at Harrod's asked her how an American came to be in London with currency from the Bank of Scotland!
