Walking to Disneyland

I apologize if this has been written before, but I couldn't find it from searching on Google and other places.

The hotel I'm staying at is, according to Google, .7 miles from Disneyland, on the 13 S. Harbor Boulevard side. That'd be a waste of money to take a taxi or something since it's only a mile away and we figured we'd just walk there. When I type Disneyland into Google maps it gives me two destinations: S. Harbor Boulevard and S. Disneyland Drive. We won't be driving; no rental car.

My question is am I able to enter the park or an area that will take me to the park from S. Harbor Boulevard? If I can enter from that street, which is only a mile, I'll definitely walk. If I have to enter from Disneyland Drive, I'll have to see how my guest will feel.

Thanks for any help. You all definitely helped me with the ticket situation. We decided to do three days and noticed they are offering 2 bonus days with that deal, so we went for that.

There is an entrance on Harbor Blvd. There are many hotels in that area and it is very walkable. You will see a big Disneyland sign on Harbor near Katella. There is a crosswalk. It will take you to a security checkpoint where they will look in your bags. The park entrance is 50 feet past the checkpoint.

The street number address entrance to Disneyland off of Harbor Blvd. is roughly at 1313 Harbor Blvd. It's directly across the street from the International House of Pancakes.

It sounds like your hotel is almost the same distance as the one I stayed in a few weeks ago. (Google Maps has my hotel at 0.6 miles from the Harbor Blvd. entrance.) I timed the walk several times, and it was invariably 20 minutes on the nose between my hotel and the front gate of DL. (That's the park entrance, not the resort entrance.) Not a bad walk at all, as long as you don't have any health issues.

It is very easy to travel because you can get a lot of travel guides. Just Drive all the way and if you get some trouble jsut ask for some assistance.
