Mine is a GoPro3 Black, and was a present from my parents for the trip (and Birthday).
It was my Dad's idea. He likes to make videos (so, you know where I got the hobby from)...and he has 3 of them! We tend to give each other camera systems...for Christmas I got him an R/C copter that has an HD camera on it. He's made some...interesting...videos with it!
As far as the mounts...the head mount and wrist mount were the most useful. I'd avoid the chest mount...I found it really didn't work well for most shots I wanted to do!
Also, if you all go shopping for batteries (which you'll want), you can get the ones from Wasabi Power plus an extra charger FAR cheaper than the GoPro official brand ones.
It's a neat little camera system. I wish I'd had more time to really play with it before the trip, but it was fun learning along the way.
Oh...another note...if he doesn't have a mac, you'll probably want some MP4 conversion software. I have the package from Wondershare.
See, for this video, for example, each 17.25 minute file was around 3 Gigs...making a total file size around 11 gigs. I had to downconvert this for my Pinnacle Video Studio to even begin to render at a reasonable rate (the first attempt to make this video was on Monday...on Friday I scrapped what I had and started fresh!)
Plus I had to splice them together.

I can only hope that this is the 1st of many. What makes it even better is that when we leave the cruise we're heading inland and will be staying at the Wilderness lodge for a week. Another 1st of staying at a Deluxe resort.

Y'know, that's a good point. Wonder if they provide the mats. They must, right? I would go for that, although I am merely a beginner; mostly because I'd like an actual yoga expert to check my form.

Maybe next trip. The "girl" on the cruise can be the kiddo. I'm just tagging along to pay for things. <grin>We could make you an honorary WDWMagic Unofficial Dream Girl, you know.
