I like the castle one a lot, but I'm in a Graphic Design class in High School and have designed better logos then #2 or #3... #2 wouldn't be so bad if they didn't keep repeating ride logos, Space Mountain is there what, like 4 times? Then they cut off the ride logos at the edge and it all looks quickly thrown together :(

This one immediately made me think of a race car. I can see it plastered to the side of a Test Track car, but that's about the extent of it's usefulness.

Other than the castle one which looks like an attempt at a retro design based off of Mary Blair, the others are only great examples of bad Photoshop jobs.

I have a graphic design degree and the following things make those typical of a high school design or something straight from 2000 in terms of cool Photoshop effects:
-Bevel/Emboss
-Outline Effect
-Drop Shaddow

The 14 one is the worst. The logos they chose and how they decided to repeat them is terrible.
The MMXIV is pretty bad as well. The colors are not evenly spread out. I also get that each roman numeral is one of the fab 5, except somehow Pluto was dropped in favor of a generic castle.

The colors are too loud, the font is too generic, and the effects scream inexperience. I would even say that Six Flags merch is better than this. This is something out of a small town business who employed their son or daughter to design the store's new sale promotion signs.

I just can't get over #3! My 6 and 9 year olds could come up with something better than that! It's soooooo ugly... it makes me want to cry!

Really?? This is the top three? I would rather go with a more classic logo. Not an invitation header for a childrens birthday. No offence... If i have to choose it would be the castle but i think it's too modern actually. This kind of style is ok for the food and wine festival for example but not to be the overal logo.

Don't worry about how bad the logo's are, worry that thisis actually classed as a Limited Time Magic event!

I've tried to be positive about Limited Time Magic, and Im still holding out that things will improve, but this?!?! Choosing a logo - an awful one none the less! Clutching a straws much??

I've never purchased any "Dated" merchandise mainly because in a year or so, it's "Dated". But if I had a gun aimed at my head I suppose that I would choose the castle.
I never understood the appeal of year dated merch, unless it's an anniversary sort of thing, or the year 2000 again.

The MMXIV logo is almost good. I kinda dig the idea behind it. The execution is lacking though, in two ways. It should be immediately obvious that the letters represent the Fab Five. Which isn't the case, they are poorly represented. And, secondly, it looks silly to repeat 2014, first in Roman numerals then written out.

The castle one is alright. It does harken back to Mary Blair, which, if one is positive, shows a sense of tradition and pride in Disney history. Meanwhile it still has a certain style of its own. The castle itself looks a bit off, but the thing does exude a sense of childish delight. It's not bad, actually.

The third one is unmitigated ugliness without any redeeming feature.
Pretty much my thoughts. I think if the MMXIV had been more minimalistic, it could have worked.

Imagine if they actually try to use either of the non castle ones on merch? I can't see the ride logos coming out legible at all on soft goods unless it's that crappy thick silk screening. And none of them really say Disney Parks, never mind WDW. Yuck.
