Vote for the WDW 2014 Logo...

Should they even have wasted their time doing this? I mean seriously as stated in @tomman 710 thread, even the majority of members who commented on the parks blog hate if not all of them at least detest 2 out of the three. If I was forced to pick one, I'd go with the castle one but that's not even Mary Blair quality. Really shocked to see that they have the guts to even put these so called logos up and force people to vote on which one represents WDW in 2014. Maybe next time they should actually consider hiring high level and professional graphic web designers to make logos unique to WDW, not these generic or junky ones. Not saying I know what I'm talking about let alone creating web logos, but Disney has done better in the past.

The castle is the only logo that looks even remotely good! The other two look like something a local pizza place would use as their logo. I expect far better from the Walt Disney Company.

It's just embarrassing how in the past couple of decades, WDW has gone from a global design center to producing stuff that most college-level graphic design students would know is awful. What happened? :(

Whichever design wins will be for Disneyland, too. It's not for WDW only. I don't think professionals created these designs. I think it was a contest for some middle schoolers, or something. Had to have been.

The MMXIV logo is almost good. I kinda dig the idea behind it. The execution is lacking though, in two ways. It should be immediately obvious that the letters represent the Fab Five. Which isn't the case, they are poorly represented. And, secondly, it looks silly to repeat 2014, first in Roman numerals then written out.

The castle one is alright. It does harken back to Mary Blair, which, if one is positive, shows a sense of tradition and pride in Disney history. Meanwhile it still has a certain style of its own. The castle itself looks a bit off, but the thing does exude a sense of childish delight. It's not bad, actually.

The third one is unmitigated ugliness without any redeeming feature.

True; this was likely created at the DisneyParks level. Doesn't make it less embarrassing, though...

Yep, exactly. It's beyond embarrassing, it's pitiful. Not to worry, because I wouldn't dare wear anything with the last two designs on them. The castle one is okay but I wouldn't spend 50 bucks on a sweat jacket with it on front.

I like them all. I think the castle one would be alot better if the colors were more bold and less pastel. Im a guy, i want bolder colors. I like the one with the colors of the fab 5 as well, i can see myself buying some things with that on it...

My personal thoughts: "Wow. Ewwww."

I like the color choices in the castle logo, but I'm not totally sold on the style. I also think the two extra circles on the zero to make it into a Hidden Mickey (really? must we?) make it look like a cluttered version of the millennium logo.

The Roman numerals logo is a cute idea, but I don't like the execution, and I don't think it's marketable.

The "Twenty 14" one, just terrible. Just. Terrible. They've done some pretty interesting logo collages recently, but this one is completely unbalanced and cluttered and has no unity of color or theme. Why are there stars in the "Twenty?" Eh, no good reason. I'd be surprised if that last one took more than 20 minutes to crank out.

I agree with you, sir. And since it's our "limited time magic" for the week- that we dont even need to be in the park for- we should all take advantage.

Aaaaand vote for the ugliest of 'em.

ugh. I'm a graphic designer, not that it makes me an expert, but I would be ashamed
to vomit pixels onto a screen like this. The castle one, maybe, kinda, I see that. The
other two, the lowest of the low.

I'm a designer as well. They're terrible.

I can understand it though. It isn't like TWDCo has any artists working for it or anything...oh wait...never mind.
