Fractal, your image has been modified using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.4 on a macintosh. You modified it on August 27th at 22:41:54 and the image was created on July 24th. I checked it out on imageedited.com.

Boy, is that scary. You are correct, and my mistake. I have been editing pictures from my last trip (over 2,000) as I'm writing my trip report (mostly those shot in RAW). It is a time consuming and tedious task. As this was originally shot in JPG I didn't think it was edited. In fact, I purposely shot some pictures in JPG just so I could have some to enter in these contests.
I have previously pulled one of my photos out of a vote after I noticed that it was an edited. So, I have called myself out - but never anybody else ( despite seeing obvious editing ). As an aside - for those of us that shot mostly ( or all ) in RAW, this contest is becoming difficult if not impossible to participate in. Perhaps we should consider a "post processing" contest? The processing I do on a RAW file is just in place of the camera's processing that is done inside the camera to create a JPG file; but we've been down this road before.
I ask @AMH97 to withdraw my entry and btw, this is the shot out of the camera.

I shoot all mine in RAW as well. However the shots I post here are just converted to JPEG. @fractal I think your shot should stay. Its a great shot and to me doesn't look as if its edited in a way that brings anything new from the original. I think his use of a 1.8 aperture is what gave this image its look. Not from Lightroom. If just converting from RAW to Jpeg disqualifies your entry please remove all of mine. Fractal has been here a very long time and has contributed many many great shots to this forum along with great travel advice.
I also think minor edits to highlights, exposure and temp is no big deal. Most labs do color correction during printing anyhow. I feel as long as things has not been removed, added or major enhancement like HDR ect then it should be okay. I know there needs to be a line drawn but this is crazy.
@Cardinals314 how do we know your image has not been edited at one point??

Photo has been taken from facebook. Facebook deletes the data we need to test if the image is original.

Have you tried using the website I mentioned? It says it in easy to read print.

IF a photo is not edited in any way (except re-sizing to meet the contest requirement) it is eligible for the contest. For those of you that do the RAW thing, that means you CAN enter your photo IF YOU TAKE IT DIRECTLY FROM THE CAMERA TO THE CONTEST. Any editing in between makes the photo NOT eligible to be entered.
We are on the honor system here. Please let's be civil to one another and play by the rules.
@fractal is pulling his photo from this contest as mentioned above. I can remove the photo, but not the poll option. Please do not vote for fractal's photo.

Pull mine too. All this whining about photo editing is ridiculous. Anyone who knows photography and knows photo editing should know his photo has not been enhanced to the point that is should not be allowed here at this contest which I remind you is JUST for FUN.
There is NO way to take a RAW image from a camera and post it straight to this contest. You have to convert it to JPEG some way. Photo contest in the past should have only allowed negatives as that's what I RAW image is. A Digital Negative.
@Cardinals314 I have no desire to be the Photoshop police in a Just for Fun photography contest. No one here ever won anything from this and its just a opportunity to showcase your work while at the most photogenic place on earth. If you knew anything about RAW you would understand there is no way to post it here and it be clean of all EXIF evidence of some kind of editing tool JUST from the conversion from RAW to JPEG acording to your "detective web site". (Trust me I tested it.) Doing such a conversion add NOTHING to the photo. Heck just adding a watermark is a edit.

There are no issues with watermarks. I do have issues when people are using colorization methods on Adobe. Yes the picture information contained changes of the color. You can see it for yourself. The information talks about the changes in the Red, Green, and Blue matrices. Also the viewing cond illuminant, surround, and luminance have been edited. sRGB IEC 61966-2.1 was used for the photo. The colorization was what had me interested in the photo.

Still doesnt change his shot. You can enhance saturation in camera when you take the shot. No worries. You got your way and he has pulled his picture. Moving on...

This got me scratching my head. What's your problem with the sRGB colorspace? It's the standard colorspace used for practically all color printers, monitors and the internet.
For someone who claims to know nothing about photo editing you seem to be very familiar with terms like color matrices, illuminant, surround, luminance and sRGB.
