Eh, another third party vendor. And having been to the one at the Denver Aquarium, I can say the food is average yet overpriced. If you really want to pay $20 for rainbow trout and rice for the chance to look at aquarium fish, go and enjoy yourself, you most certainly will.
I wish TDC would hire a few up and coming executive chefs, pay them what they need to be paid, and give them more freedom to express themselves. I'm sure FL has lots and lots of great produce, meats, dairy, fish, etc., that could be utilized (not too mention what Disney produces for themselves) and have a few, maybe 10, restaurants where the food is the theme. No crap on the walls, no AA's

, no characters, and no pretentiousness. An establishment in which both local and exotic ingredients, combined with top-notch service and a pleasant setting, are the focus of the experience. I know to hope for an ever-changing menu, based on what is in season and fresh, is probably too much to ask for, but I do not believe having two or three seasonal dishes would do any harm.
That's not to say that the other places aren't without their charm or appeal, but they do not even really pretend to be about the cuisine. Which again is fine, they serve a purpose and can be really enjoyable for first timers, kids, and for the sheer novelty of them.
I do hope, however, for more restaurants in the near future that cater to a more discriminating palette. Considering the scope of the current offerings in the highly themed restaurant area, this is a rumor I personally hope stays a rumor. Unless they open another restaurant in the vein of what I described above. Heck they can open 4 T-Rexs, for every 1 restaurant with better cuisine.
I'll finish the rant with a question: Is the F&G worth making a special trip for? I've heard a lot of mixed bags. Lines, etc., is not what I am after, but the quality of the cuisine.
Apologies for drifting.
