Vlogger Detained At Security Check

Notes from Neverland

I follow (and enjoy) several Youtube channels and a few of them are Disney vloggers that create good content. Tim Tracker is one of our favorites. While his content is heavily based around Disney/Uni, he (and his wife) visit many other places in Orlando/Florida such as restaurants , animal rescues, Space X launches, etc. They also do fun "Disney challenges" and Disney resort tours. He keeps his Disney vlogs strictly about the parks and resorts and is not a pixie duster or a doom and gloomer (In his videos). and with close to 400,000 subscribers and some of his more popular uploads reaching over 2 million views, I am sure he makes a decent paycheck from it.

My point is that its fun and we enjoy having our coffee in the morning and watching the Youtube channels we subscribe to. I dont think it pathetic and we enjoy supporting people with creative talent and good content. But I will totally agree that there some Youtubers that try to hard to be crazy and over the top.

I'll also vouch for the Tim Tracker videos. Easily my favorite WDW vlogger.

I'm on the fence on this one... seems security could be more helpful than "call lost & found" especially considering the value of what was allegedly in the bag. On the other hand, why would you take so much expensive equipment to a theme park...?

But the clear message is -- if you PO Disney security to the point where they call the Orange County Sheriffs in, you've already lost.

I'm on the fence as to whether he is a delusional moron or a seriously delusional moron.
Seriously, if you show up at a random time, pick a random security lane then lose something and your "go to" is that there is a conspiracy against you... we'll typing this has made my mind up.

Seriously delusional moron.

Yeah, that's really what happened here and how it all escalated... *rolleyes*

Escalating and threats are not how things get done... even if you think you have YT credz... Maybe your buddy will start to realize that.
I think that character is no longer on these boards...

Yep. I wouldn't leave without resolving my issue, but it wouldn't get to the point of getting arrested either. If you handle the situation like a reasonable person this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

Agreed. It would take quite a lot to get Disney to the point of calling police and forcing someone to leave the property. People get upset and have disagreements about things at Disney all the time without getting arrested. Act like a mature adult and you will be fine.

Not sure why he didn't know, but I only watch 1 vlogger semi-regularly, and a few others sporadically, and most of them have made mention that they cannot take video while near security, so they stop and restart their recording when they go through security. I think this one just wanted to cause trouble.
So many of them do, just to stand out from the rest. He's a clown, imho. Too many of them are. My GF and I do watch the Tim Tracker, but he's not a clown, and he will slam WDW when it's warranted. Unlike this guy and so many others who just want to make a mark for themselves.
