They tried to retcon Hatbox and make him villainous but he'll always be a grim grinning ghost to me. The only true villains are the imagineers responsible for his placement in the mansion. With the possible exception of the bride in the attic.
The real villians, are the last decade of execs we made along tbe way.
It should be great! Each third of the ride will be done by one imagineer who will create their own thing. And they will announce 12 different rides before they start one. It's gonna be awesome!I for one am looking forward to the Kathleen Kennedy dark ride.

Does anyone else wonder if they don’t do the multi villain ride because it’ll be too similar in concept to Monsters Unchained over at Epic?Am I alone in thinking that this is far and away the most logical WDW spot for a Shanghai Pirates boat ride for all the villains?

Although if it was done with a different ride system like say the Shanghai boats I’d suppose it wouldn’t be that similar especially since the tone of the rides will be vastly different
It was more management's decision than WDI's. Not that WDI is blameless. They tried to retcon Hatbox and make him villainous but he'll always be a grim grinning ghost to me. The only true villains are the imagineers responsible for his placement in the mansion.
I imagine it would be a totally different tone.Does anyone else wonder if they don’t do the multi villain ride because it’ll be too similar in concept to Monsters Unchained over at Epic?

I am sure they will build something. Whether it lives up to expectations will be another story.Seems like Classic Josh... There have been no concrete proposals that have been released... There has been talk and one sketchy piece of concept art. That's it. For an area that is supposed to begin construction in a few months, you would think they would release something a little more specific other than a roller coaster and another attraction ( which could mean anything)...Could be a meet and greet like Fairytale Hall... they call that an "attraction" too.
They talked about the land at D23 Brazil, showing some of the villains that will be featured in the land, some of the story. We only know about the coaster in the initial concept art, but nothing about the second major ride.At the Risk of reading through 68 pages of 'imagineering' do we have any concrete proposals for what will be going on here, or was this announcement just 'classic Josh'.
