News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I feel like they’re going to use a combination of the Magic Mirror and Hades to explain why the villains are together. When Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom was around, they had Hades resurrect the dead villains.

I would hope the villains are restricted to Magic users/Gods (Queen, Chenabog, Maleficent, Ursula, Jafar, Hades, Dr. Faciller) who have an easy reason they can exist together (Magic.) That said, if you are going with the banished from MK theme the Stepmother/Stepsisters could fit as well. Gaeston has his tavern in MK so he shouldn’t also be in villain land. Because it’s too good of a concept, I would also be willing to overlook a Cruella “owned” themed table service restaurant because it would be awesome.

I would agree with most of that... If they did a Cruella themed restaurant it should be at DHS and be based on the Cruella of the live action film...an explosion of art and fashion and insanity.... It would be fabulous.
But yeah...I don't want to see Gaston or the Stepmother and stepsisters...the butler from the Aristocats...it needs to be magical epic evil... Wicked Queen, Malefecint, etc.

I love me some Bowler Hat Guy and king candy, but I get the sense they’re going for more fairytale villains and not villains of modernity

I highly doubt other Villains will be 100% absent. These will just be the ones with a stronger focus. I’m more than happy with this list.

I think they just needed something to show and lifted this Lorcana art to give a sense of what the land could be about. I wouldn't read too much into it.

And none of them are as good or iconic as Facilier. But back to my point - where are they in this lineup of villains that inspire the land?
