The most significant theme in Tron is the conflict between man and machine. Tron tells a story that cautions the world about technological control and presents a dystopian vision of the future. EPCOT presents an optimistic vision of technology whereby technological progress marches us closer to utopia.

Tron’s dystopian story doesn’t fit in EPCOT.
Neither does GOTG's silly slapstick fantasy superhero fiction.... but they were both perfect fits for DHS....

Tron’s dystopian story doesn’t fit in EPCOT.
WALL-E is also dystopian, but there are things you can take from it that would fit thematically with, say, The Land. The isomorphic algorithms from TRON: Legacy, for instance, could be a more positive aspect of the franchise to explore.
