If that is just for Villains land then I don't see how they do it within the Train loop as what I have outlined below is right at 10 acres

If you take this and then add in the lower part of the Rivers of America and TSI you get to right at 14 acres, so my guess is the 14 acres is for the entire project covering both Villains land and Cars Land
It is curious that they didn’t include the 2 Cars attractions coming to Frontierland in the structural details as well.

I will also note that Disney does seem to be planning for an expansion beyond the train tracks to connect with what I suspect will be a new resort with direct access to Villains land. The Floridian Way project under construction right now would also line up with this. In the SFWMD permit, two of the three laydown yards are proposed to be developed.

See the blue striped area below.

I think this is most likely, however it is curious that they didn’t include the 2 Cars attractions coming to Frontierland in the structural details as well.

yeah, and if they are going to go beyond the berm and have an entrance from a hotel back there right into Villains Land then Villains Land alone could be 14 acres, but guess we will see

If the world was perfect…. Tony, Joe, and Kevin would be leading everything at the parks haha. Now THAT would be a Villians land!
I think Scott throw bridge would be a good person to work on villains land his track record is pretty much perfect imo Joe rode is great but he designs specific projects with specific themes now if they wanna do a project centered around S.E.A than you get rode back I don’t think his specific talents are a good fit for villains land

I just put this together and tossed it out on to social media. I was curious about how big some of these areas are for this project.

@Stripes Just for reference, Riviera + parking is roughly 25-28 acres (includes retention ponds etc). Wilderness Lodge is like 46. Coronado Springs with just Tower and parking, no lobby is 12.

IMO they should pay the money and get who ever designed Universal's monsters land. That's exactly what Villains land should be.

Many people that worked on Monsters at UC have been hired away and are working on Villains at WDI now. Pete Carsillo, the executive in charge of Monsters at UC, is still at UC though. Prior to UC he worked at WDI on some smaller projects like being Creative lead on the interactive Haunted Mansion queue project at MK.

I think Villains needs to have a very different ambition. Fans of the Villains would expect it to be a little more fantastical/magical than DU’s gritty electric theming. Which kinda makes sense, the Villains IPs and Universal Monsters IPs don’t really have too much in common.
Please stop 🙏 I understand you don’t like the ride which is fine but we’re all tired of hearing the sarcastic comments about it
at a certain point we need to move on from Tiana Derangement Syndrome. It’s not healthy

I doesn't need to be as dark as Universal's but I feel it shouldn't be as light hearted like Not so Scary is. Something in between the 2.

Flow-wise, this would actually work very well. Use the 14-acre plot for the Frontierland updates and Villains phase 1 with some of the heavy-hitter attractions. Use the 13-acre plot for the rumored super deluxe resort and the 11-acre plot for the second gate/alternate Main Street with some phase 2 Villains attractions. Eventually, the 19-acre plot could be used for another land that could connect to Adventureland via the Fire Mountain plot, Frontierland via the plot behind Big Thunder, and the adjacent second gate. Or they could just use that area for something completely different.

Ummm... the train and train tracks? Watchya gonna do with those?
I thought about rerouting, but honestly, the train going through Villains would be interesting...

Narration: "Now we're passin' through a darker kinda place...in fact, I don't really even know what to call it, but there are evil magic people all around who displaced a Native American tribe that used to live here."
