Uni makes a ride that's screen-heavy and mid at best?

Took two laps on this yesterday, and thought it was a nice little replacement for Shrek all things considered, and probably an overall improvement both in capacity and guest satisfaction. The gun is definitely hefty, and along with the lack of auto fire left my fingers and arms feeling the burn. The physical feedback in the guns is a nice touch, but there's definitely the chance for a snag with delays waiting for guns. The first time we waited a good 30-45 seconds for the carousel to bring around charged guns before proceeding, and the second time the family right in front of us waited about a full minute. Hopefully they're still bringing their full armory online and/or have some sort of secondary charging solution in mind to keep those delays to a minimum. I did notice screen lag, but the thing I found most annoying was how surprisingly sensitive the system is to you moving off your dot, especially considering you could be turning your whole body around. My second lap I lost an entire room and change from turning around and my gun not being happy one foot was entirely off of my dot.

All in all, it's a fun little attraction and an upgrade from what occupied the space before. If they don't kill it with Express, this should be able to pump through crowds and never build a massive line. The first time we waited about 35 with a posted 60 wait and using most of the main outdoor line. The second lap was posted at 35, but was more like a 15 with the line barely past what appears will be the Express merge point.

It serves a similar purpose and audience to Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. It is not a huge building and entertains with some interactivity. This was never destined to be a major ticket, but a continued fleshing out of the land.

The guns and remaining accessability of enjoying the experience are the big issues here. The show writing and details are on brand and fun.

Why don't Universal just close their parks and just open for Halloween horror nights. The obsession with that, and not utilizing the space with the second theatre is an utter disgrace.
You can go to Las Vegas instead when they open their year long haunt...

This is the first I heard about proximity censor for a dot.

I wonder how that works out with someone in a wheelchair experiences attraction.
Kids, even in place, like to move as well.
This kind of thing and the weight of the gun are things I wonder why were not better considered since you want this attraction accessable by all. It's a shake a parent is not allowed just hold their child in this. I get liability but it means even this thing will ha e to utilize child swap. It is annoying.

These are my concerns for the unique idea of a moving walkway attraction as the things rides that are similar have figured out over.time, this will ha e some fun ones.

Right down to someone getting sick and puking.

Sadly, this will be yet another new attraction that is not likely open during HHN to distribute the excess crowds. They need some.good a creations open to distribute, even when it's not primary reason for people to go.

It better be open this year considering there's rumored to be no scarezone there, and I don't know why else they would make that change if not to accommodate the new attraction. But in future years it will likely be impossible to keep the attraction open for HHN as half the building is still set aside as a house venue and it will likely require the entire queue.

There is talk it will not be open for HHN.

No scare zones, just plenty of roaming hordes.

Basically, operationally there was .ore concern over how guests would treat standing up vs a ride.

The event needs all the crowd spreading we can get. We are past due for a new actual event offering and death eaters roaming disgon won't cut it since the night time show was lost as weeee other second shows over the years.

Most of the other usual scarezone locations are rumored to have full-fledged scarezones as they normally would. It is only that one up front that is supposedly being replaced by a horde, along with another one in Springfield. If this isn't being done to accommodate Villain-Con, then it's pretty needless.

Agreed HHN wise.

But it's not about just the HHN guests. It may not have the attraction operational because they want it visually unobstructed for the day guests.

Minion Cafe can't handle the numbers Monsters coul. It will be interesting to see how that goes or just remains open with mobile only.

seems like there could be some mileage in a seasonal HHN thing where the screens get swapped to zombies you shoot or something

It's choppy phone games on the walls only you have a heavy gun instead of your finger. There's -some props but not much. The games are not fun. It's garbage.
