Want so much to see a Shuttle launch but each time I am there during a launch it gets scrubbed for one reason or another.
Does anyone else have pictures from their view from inside the parks??

It was 6:21 in the morning. The parks were not open yet.

Shuttle Launch

I actually have some pics from last year when the shuttle launched. I was inside MK, marching a parade with the high school marching band I help teach...my wife was waiting for the band to come out and march for the parade and she took some pictures as the shuttle took off.
If I can figure out how to post them I will, I'm new to this site!

I was actually hoping this launch would be moved (again). We were supposed to go see it when it was originally scheduled to be on March 18, and then it got moved, and there was no way we could be there today.

Sitting on my kitchen counter is a security clearance packet from NASA that would have allowed us access to the base for this morning's launch. I haven't had the heart to throw it away, especially on the off-chance they moved it to when we could attend. I am even more sad when I see these beautiful photos. That must have been amazing to watch! I am happy for those who got to go, though!

LOVE the shuttle pic!!!! Sadly, was at WDW last March when the shuttle launched and missed seeing it from Pop by seconds.

It was supposed to launch the day we were driving down and I hadn't heard that it was scrapped. So as I was walking from our room at Pop in the 50's section to the cafeteria the next day around supper hour, I happened to see everybody looking to the East and taking pictures and video. When I nicely asked someone what he was looking at, he replied the Space Shuttle had just launched. I saw that smoke trail, but that was all! :brick:

I saw a rocket launch several years ago one night from the Wilderness Lodge dock. Had no idea what it was until a gentleman beside me told me. So I grabbed the camera and got some shots. It was really cool. I can't imagine the excitement of watching a shuttle launch!

I've gotten to see the shuttle fly over as it was landing. It was so cool. My parents got up this morning and watched the launch from the Disney Conservancy.
