I believe Aurora will be moving back inside. That should be the only change...but do any of our resident character experts have any information on that?

And really the only important parts are the Beast, Chip, Mrs. Potts, Felipe, and Maurice so as long as they have enough for those....Which I'm sure they probably will.

This NOT an attraction...this is a glorified meet and greet.

If this was advertised as more then there would be am issue..why look a gift horse in the mouth?

I think this looks amazing and very much better than simply waiting in line to meet Belle. Every M&G should be as detailed and guest involved. If you can't appreciate that they put some thought into this then you should be ashamed to call yourself a fan.

I certainly don't consider myself a "duster", but some of you are complaining about stuff that you normally complain about them NOT doing.

To anyone under a certain age (and also the parents) this is very much an attraction.

Likewise, to a family with small children the ToT is just a well themed building on the skyline of Hollywood Studios and certainly NOT an attraction. More like glorified architecture.

See how I did that?

This is one of those rare times I agree with JT, this is as much an attraction as any ride in the park. I bet for a lot of kids they will remember this attraction more then some of the rides in the park. I still remember talking to a good friends 5 year old daughter when they came back from her first week long trip to WDW. I asked what she enjoyed the most on the trip and she said without hesitation, "meeting the princesses".

Right on.

And you always agree with me, you just don't know it yet. ; )

So, does this mean it's opening soon to the public? Obviously it looks basically ready to go, so I don't know why they'd wait until November...

It depends on how much fine tuning they still want to do on this. In the storytime portion you could see a whole bunch of CMs with clip boards in the back of the room obviously assessing how well things are going. Also, the wardrobe segment was very un-polished, the CM definitely needed more rehearsal to be show ready.

However the parents can do a child swap - then the parents can still experience the attraction, so its still an attraction.

what happens if there isn't enough people
Like what if only the slowest day it starts raining and no one goes to the attraction except a few.
If it starts raining, it is indoors so people will choose this over Dumbo, BTMRR, etc. I'm sure they have a plan.

It looks great!

I think it looks great. It also shows that certain issues addressed in a "complaint" thread have already been addressed.

1. someone was suggesting not everyone would be part of the show and there would be kids who'd be upset b/c they weren't selected. This clearly shows they are ready to accomodate everyone who wants to be a part of the show.
2. someone noted that it was again something where the adults really couldn't get involved, but I think it's quite evident from this vid that they intend to involve all of the adults who wish to participate as well.

While it does look ready to go, I'm sure they are using this time to fine tune the timing between part assignment and the actual part with Belle. Still, considering it looks this good on Sept 1st...one would think that if possible- people could see soft openings well before the Nov preview.

I was one of the complainers in the other thread and it definitely looks better in this new video as they picked quite a few adults out of the audience.

They didn't show it at the end of the video so I'm curious, do only the people participating get a photo op? I saw the PhotoPass photographer snapping pics near the end as people were "introduced" at the end, but what happens after the "play" is over? Do the other folks just watching line up for a pic, or just exit out?

The Touringplans article did originally say only people who participated in the show got a photo op, but they have since corrected that to say that everyone can get the photo op.

Anyways, why are AAs these days using projection technology? I guess because it's cheaper?

It's probably because it makes a more lifelike feel. I'm not sure a 'real' Lumier would work, as he's a cartoon. I can see where you are coming from if they were human but he's a candlestick! I think that he looks fantastic.

It's an attraction - just like the Main Street Cinema was.. or the House of the Future was.

But being an attraction doesn't come with some expectation that it should be desirable to 20-something males.

It's storytime with belle.. an attraction experience that has ALWAYS been aimed at 'read-along' age children. Complaining about this is like complaining Dumbo isn't thrilling enough. It's beyond stupid and self-centered.

I wasn't using the walls as evidence, I was trying not to give everything away. It's probably gonna open WELL before November 19th...

That's great news for those of us that want to experience it. I was wondering about this based on the walls and videos. No reason NOT to open if ready even if unofficial soft opening.

Keep your ear the ground for an opening date. Those walls aren't just there by coincidence.

It was clear months ago that there was not going to be one large unveiling of FLE. And it was clear as soon as Disney released their official preview video of Belle that they new amateur YouTube videos from soft opens were about to hit the Internet (just as the official Dumbo queue video hit a few days before opening)

With just Mermaid, BoG, and the smaller shops and restaurants left to open--- and Disney's trend of opening these additions as soon as they're ready--- what's the chance we could see all or almost all of FLE open long before the November "preview"?
