Cronkite doesn't have an English accent!

Dench will be great. I like the fact that she'll be less recognizable than Patrick Stewart to most people, so riders can focus more on the narration than the narrator. That's precisely James Earl Jones would have been a poor choice for narrator although he has a great voice.

Just my two cents, but I'm a little disappointed to hear that it's Judi Dench. I would prefer Patrick Stewart, I just love a good deep base voice, goes right to my core. Judi Dench is a great narrator, but more for the Discovery or History Channel or something like that. It was obvious that Disney was going to try to get a woman narrator this time around though. I can't wait to see it when I go in March!

Only had a cellphone camera and I don't think any camera could have gotten a good shot without a very good zoom lens

Curious as to what the December opening comment stemmed from... we're not really getting any solid confirmation of that at all, but not as much backlash to it as I'd expect either...

How do you go from an opening being pushed back by over 3 months - to then all of the sudden - moving it up over two months from the pushed back date? Confused - :brick:just think about it..haha

If it were to open in Dec - that means the orginial opening date is only pushed back by just right at a month. Somehow - for some reason...my gut tells me this won't happen in Dec. -- but keeping fingers crossed (I'll be there Dec 2nd and 3rd).:xmas:

And as much as I like his voice - by the end of the ride - I'm like, please just shut him up. I really liked his voice when he first came on in 1994/95, but as I've ridden it more and more... I don't know exactly what it is about his voice on SSE that does that for me. Anyone else feel like that?

But it's definitly time for a change IMHO.
