I think it looks pretty cool, kids will love this. I just hope it does more than just walk around. I assume they’ll interact with guests and share “scientific” knowledge about Pandora?

Are we also getting a new drum show or is this replacing it?

Secret to how the suit works...

The legs are fake. The guy isn't sitting, his real legs are in the suit's leg and he's stilt walking. There's nothing visibly mechanized about the suit at all.

Looks cheesy with the fake legs.

Can I just say I didn't even notice it was fake legs and watched both videos trying to figure out how the legs worked? Obviously it's very effective.

I'm glad they designed avatarland with ample room for this additional attraction! Getting around that black light poster nightmare will be just joyful once these guys start walking around.

Damn... next thing you’ll tell me is that their really not “friends”. Is nothing sacred?

Both videos are disney produced as well.

Until we get some opinions after seeing it in person, we aren’t going to be able to have a decent judgement on the execution.

Megatron and the other transformers at UOR looks fantastic. Hopefully the legs aren’t obviously fake and/or we don’t see the real legs in the background.

Regardless, we can all suspend reality, and be fine.

Sheesh, guys. It's not a bad piece of puppetry and I love that the hands are completely articulated and responsive. And it does something that the land direly needs - It brings an interactive PCI character to life in a show that's going to interest people. Kids are going to want to see the cool suit(as anyone would when a piece of visual interest comes along). They tested PCI guides in the previews but they ultimately didn't stick around. This will grab peoples interest AND fill in the story for people who aren't experiencing FoP. As for people knocking this thing down, it's going to be at the ACE camp. No doubt it'll be roped off or attended by handlers. This is a great idea for so many reasons, not to mention both ends of the valley will finally have some kind of interactive show.
