Very Late Check-In?

Hi all

We are about to book our flight for our Disneymoon (YAY!) but we will be taking an early evening flight, which will get us into to our resort at around 10:30-11:00pm.
I'm so nervous for them to think we're not showing up and give away our room!
I called Disney today and was told that they wouldn't release our reservation unless we didn't show up by 8am the next morning and they will make a note that were arriving late.

Has anyone else encounter this late check-in? Help!

We also have checked in as late as midnight. Get your own bags from DME and your room will be fine. The one issue that we did have that no one has brought up... we stayed at the BW and when we arrived HUNGRY (hadn't eaten supper) at 11:30pm we had a very hard time finding anywhere to grab a quick bit to eat at that time. So you may want to make sure you have something to eat in your luggage, just in case you don't get to eat a decent supper.

Hmmm great thought we will make sure to have snacks then!

I've checked in at 3 am....1 am...and pretty much whatever time it is when I get there from my 15 - 18 hr drive from Jersey...I usually call ahead but there is always one person at check-in usually and unless it's for the next day you shouldn't have to wait (but you're suppose to check-in that day so it's good)...

As unhealthy as it is, the MacDonalds at the end of Buena Vista (or whatever DHS and typhoon lagoon is on) I believe is 24 hrs....
