This is not the only thing coming to Epcot. Something big after this refurbishment is coming.

BIG?!??!:ROFLOL:

You must know something since your folks named you Insider and all :ROFLOL: ... so ... spill.

I'm really dying to hear some BIG news heading into my weekend!

I heard it has something to do with MK and Feb. 29. :zipit:

I, too, am very curious as to "what's next"!

OK ... we have 59 folks reading a thread on nothing (that's just for my personal social media checklist).

You've gotta give it to that cutie Jenn ... the way she can snag a nice salary from Disney to say absolutely nothing when she isn't tweeting up the straight fanbois out there (do I need a sarcastic smiley?)

Great post: are there going to be any changes to the ride portion of the attraction?
Jenn (using her best Disney BSpeak): You'll have to wait and see! (oh, and have a MAGICal day)

UGH!!!!!!!!

Why do people still expect so much from Disney when all they wind up with in FLA is so much disappointment (and timeshares ... DVC IS Disney's Best Kept Secret ... well, other than what goes down at 1401 Flower)?

~If I want to hear BS all the time, I'll watch the talking heads on CNBC (wait ... I am!)~

I feel as though you should start smoking pixie dust like the rest of us. It makes everything Disney does seem okay.

Ignorance is bliss?

While I am happy that TT is getting an update because I think it desperately needs one! I sture hope they change part of the attraction itself. If you change the story leading up to the attraction, I can't see how the attraction would stay the same. I have my fingers crossed however I can't remember the last time "a big announcement" at WDW had me pumped up! I am excited about Fantasyland but since that announcement there has been nothing but overhyped queues and refurbs on the rides that aren't in desperate need of them. I hope this is a really good refurb!

So its sounding like they are shifting gears (no pun intended) with the rehab. Instead of doing changes with the ride itself it sounds more and more like its just queue and post show only. Which is dissapointing, queue's are getting all the attention now instead of the actual attractions. But I guess time will tell. It would just be extra nice if there are some new show scenes/effects after all is said and done, and not just screens! I hope its not another Spaceship Earth where they have a plan in place and yet dont finish it because a budget runs out.

maybe they can finally put the hotel in Canada to use!

I'd stay here

As the story is now....You walk through a testing facility and then ride along during the testing of a car.

As the story will be.....You design a car then ride along during the testing of the car you designed.

Different pre-show, same show.

Really, how many times did she need to respond to comments about TT becoming a "simulated" ride. She did at least three times. Why post the same question over and over? Who's running the show here? Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum?

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
Don't be surprised with the next DVC resort is built connected to Epcot.

Im assuming its not DVC as no way will they start another DVC expansion before finishing the GF expansion!!

Plus a DVC expansion is no longer that exciting to be "BIG"

right, because DVC would NEVER engage in more than one construction project at the same time!

Kidani Village opened in May 2009. Bay Lake Tower in August 2009 (and, different resort, but the Grand Californian Hotel's villas opened in September 2009).

As to your 2nd point--depends on who you are asking. Bean counters and DVC members would be excited, I'm sure.

Reality often sucks, but I still prefer to deal with it.

What's the saying? ... you have to admit there's a problem before you can solve it.

The 'WDW has never been better' crowd needs to wake up (besides, that social media gravy train isn't going to go on endlessly ... Disney may feel some bizarre need to itself to say 100 Mommy Bloggers, but it isn't going to do so for 1,000 or 10,000 etc).

Is that before the GF DVC? Or the Poly DVC? Or more Contemp DVC? Or the FW/RC DVC? Or the Buena Vista Dr DVC?:hurl::hurl::hurl:

And if you believe you are dropping anything new into this thread, other Spirits have already written of Disney's desire to place DVC into EPCOT.

You aren't talking any big news there ... vile, disgusting plans, perhaps ... but not 'news' ... unless you have some actual plans that we could place online ... or maybe email Jenn Fickley about with questions.

~Would she even know?~

The Tweedles are a story for Jim 'Witness Protection' Hill ...
