There have been a few changes:

Snow White's Scary Adventures will not be operating April 19 - May 28, 2004, however we recommend Peter Pan's Flight as an alternative during this time.

"Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" Movie Set Adventure will not be operating May 3 - June 30, 2004, however we recommend Playhouse Disney as an alternative during this time

Dinosaur will not be operating April 25 - June 4, 2004, however we recommend Primeval Whirl as an alternative during this time

lol...hey, it has high-tech dinosaur animatronics that you encounter at high speeds in your time machine vehicle, loud sound effects, screaming people...they might as well knock down DINOSAUR :D

Tricera Top Spin would be so much better than Dinosaur. It makes a much better alternate.

And I didn't think Playhouse Disney was an actual playhouse. :veryconfu Oh well.

Why are you complaining about Dino-Rama when you should be complaining about Grizz complaining about EPCOT??

When IASW closes for refurb in June, get ready for 2 hour wait times for Peter Pan at peak times. People who think IASW's closing won't affect Fantasyland much may not be fully appreciating the number of people absorbed by those big boats. When the people come up the hill from Liberty Square, they look right and see Peter Pan and its posted wait time. They look left and see . . . "Closed for Refurbishment." Into Peter's queue they will go.

As for Primeval Whirl, all I can say is, "I knew Dinosaur. Dinosaur was a friend of mine. Primeval Whirl, you are no Dinosaur!"

It should say:

"Dinosaur will not be operating April 25 - June 4, 2004, however we recommend Indiana Jones™ Adventure at Disneyland as an alternative during this time."

That's a better substitute  -Stephanie

Hehehe....

A Prime Evil Whrill clone is being built at SFGAm...

But it will be themed to New Orleans...

(Marriots totally ripped off Disney with the New Orleans section at Great America)

Lovely. Yet another ride that will be closed during my stay. It just keeps getting better with each revision. One wonders what happened to doing refurbs in December and January. Sigh.

In fact, they should rename Prime Evil Hurl to Dinosaur because of the ancient carnival technology and rename Dinosaur back to Countdown to Extinction.

Aw crap, they extended the closure. Originally it was only supposed to be a month. May is going to be a loooooong month for my family.

(My son is autistic, and goes on Snow White several times per week. He's not going to understand the concept of "temporarily closed")

How about "Snow White and the Seven dwarves are taking a little holiday of their own"?

This is a kid who exits the park by the exact same route - including detours through shops - after every single visit. Saying he is a creature of habit is like saying Bill Gates has a lot of money; it's technically true but doesn't quite convey the *magnitude* of the statement...

Fortunately, one of the cast members in Fantasyland (and also a member of this board) has been kind enough to take a ton of pictures of the entire ride. I'll be making a picture book of the whole ride for him to look at, plus a video recording of a couple of ride-throughs. Between that and pushing him over to other areas of the park it shouldn't be a complete disaster. But I guarantee there wll be more than a few rough days ahead in the next six weeks.
