With Volcano Bay now open, there might be “demand” for a more exciting water park I guess.

Good point. Volcano bay has another 5 acres to expand but I think it's done after that. It has limited capacity.
When do the 2018 attendance figures come out? Typhoon, Blizzard and Aquatica all took a hit in 2017 with Volcano Bay.
Around the last week of May.

Not really.
If you just scroll up and read, there was an ongoing discussion about demand for a 3rd waterpark and how Volcano Bay affected attendance and even when the 2018 report would come out.
So when the new report came out, I linked to the new thread but with the pertinent information for this thread.

Saw the article on the front page about a waterpark at Margaritaville about to open up.

Aside from the fact that it's a horrible name, does anyone know details of the dize or capacity of Island H2O Live?
I guess it answers the question about whether 4 waterparks is enough.

This is part of an entire Margaritaville complex that has housing, condo type accommodations, shopping, dining, a hotel and then the water park.Not sure if the water park discussion should stay here or if a mod wants to separate it out.
