I hope the Great movie ride refurb is comming it could use the TLC. HM sounds believable since it down for rehab right now.

you are bold, I give you that. However, your rumors are at least believable, which is more than I can say of most of the newbie "insiders." Further additions to TL and MGM, I expected, and two modes for the HM is a very cool idea. I've said before that Pirates on the GMR would rock.

You know, I was thinking Pirates also, but wouldnt it be rather redundant having a scene in the GMR on Pirates when they have the whole danged attraction only miles away?

While all awesome ideas (love the term 'Potter-Swatter'), I understand the skeptics. Does Lee's "I can't vouch for the whole post, but I heard something kinda similar" re: the Haunted Mansion ideas carry alot of weight?

I also like the pair this cat's got, posting stuff like this striaght away, and it's obvious attitude... "Disney's in my name? That can't be right..."

ill-fated probably because it's not particularly needed and would just leach off the other two parks with no real return (I'd love to see a 3rd waterpark cuz I love new stuff, but I don't feel it's really necessary). Additional capacity at the existing two parks would do fine. Blizzard Beach hasn't seen anything new in years...

I agree. If you were Disney, wouldn't you want to take a world like Middle Earth and really build it? I highly doubt that anybody on the Lord of the Rings side of the agreement would go for having their work be turned into a single scene in a ride full of other movies.

However, there's always Pirates to exploit...

I also doubt that two refurbs inside the GMR would "swat" Potterworld and capture Harry's potential audience.

The orriginal bit of info mentioned the CM eyeing a particular piece of jewelry. I would think that The One Ring would be said piece. Im not sure exactly what jewelry they would be referring to in POTC....

If Disney was in the process of signing a contract with two entities for rights to use a property as popular as Lord of the Rings, you can bet that it would be multi-faceted. That is, you can bet that there would be more than one product in the parks from that property.

Of course, that's a big if...
