With all these new clips my excitement is off the charts! I'd have to say the the video about Venezuela was my favorite. I love hearing about the inner workings of Pixar - it only adds to my love of their films. Besides the quality of animation, seeing it in 3D should be a whole new experience, I'm always drawn to Pixar's odd pairings- don't Russell and Carl seem like one of the most unique teams? Can't wait for May 29th!

Thanks for posting that!
You've got to check out this "Meet Dug" video. I love that he has all the characteristic dog qualities - squirrel! AND "I have just met you and I love you." Anyone else thinking that Dug might be their favorite character?

Only Pixar could come up with such a unique group! May 29th can't come soon enough.

Since you're interested in Dug, here's an article you might enjoy about Bob Peterson, who co-wrote UP and supplies Dug's voice. He is from my hometown. :)

Dug is already my favorite character . My boyfriend and I watch that video every night. It's the dog/Disney lovers in us, I guess.

Probably not that surprising to many of you but the reviews for UP are amazing. Here is one that ran in Variety magazine. Just in case you run into anyone that doesn't want to see the film...although I honestly doubt you will :)

Despite the sheer volume of incident and action required of any film that includes young kids as a major portion of its target audience, "Up" is an exceptionally refined picture; unlike so many animated films, it's not all about sensory bombardment and volume. As Pixar's process is increasingly analyzed, the more one appreciates the care that goes into the writing. The underlying carpentry here is so strong, it seems it would be hard to go too far wrong in the execution.
