UP characters moving to AK

Just as Robin Hood's gang was pared down by time (adieu Maid Marian), the breakup of the characters of Up! begins.

In time, Russell may take his place aside Friar Tuck and Clarabelle Cow as characters people think they know, but just can't quite put a name to the face. :)

I wish they would bring back Robin Hood and Maid Marian. There are other issues with Russell. I'm just not going to go into detail about it on here.

That's odd for a main character to drop isn't it? You still see more than just Pooh and Tigger. Russell and the bird are important characters to the story.

Oh well, I didn't see them at the Studios either.

You might appreciate this photo from the 2009 half marathon:

Everybody BUT Maid Marian and Friar Tuck! I was very excited to see Little John.

Glad I saw Russell and Dug at DHS then. Even though I really only wanted to see Dug. I stopped 3 times and never saw Carl. Guess I should find him for sure at AK next trip then.

Kinda surprised that they won't just have Lotso rotate sets with the existing Toy Story M&G area. Unless the current theming doesn't match well. So will they maybe bring out other less seen characters to alternate? Say Jesse or Bo Peep?

I don;t think this fits???? WHy because there are dogs??? I don't get it?

Disney's Animal Kingdom is more than about animals. It's about exotic locales and the adventure one encounters while visiting them seen through the landscape and vistas that their natural inhabitants (the animals) create. The movie Up fits perfectly with that theme.

Nope the main theme to DAK is animal and Conservation, UP does not fit either of these.
