It was already cut and editted from the refurbishment - a whole sequence about going to see her parents, one of which was played by Golden Girl Betty White was cut. That's where she gets the light bulb she gives to Einstein. After it was cut, they had to add in the voiceover describing the lightbulb as a parting gift since it no-longer made sense.

Just a note - Energy's production crew is very skilled. The director also made American Journeys and Timekeeper.

The helicopter camera guy also worked on Narnia and the digital FX artist worked on movies like Mr and Mrs Smith.

Another note - the production of the Ellen films ran behind schedule. So much so the original show was brought back from the dead with the Ellen infrastructure already in place; the old preshow shown without the Radok screens, temporary voiceovers, Ellens AA hidden behind a rock, various AA`s reprogrammed for no apparent reason...

A very ropey show!
