Unpopular opinions about the parks?

Space Mountain is massively overrated for what is essentially a carnival ride slapped inside a building. It absolutely does not deserve the hype it gets, especially with the awful state of the track and worlds most uncomfortable ride vehicles, especially for anyone tall.

I get to ride Space Mountain about 50% of the time… the other 50% I get turned away for being too tall.

I’m just at the mercy of whoever is working there that day, which sucks.

Woah…I have never gotten turned away for being too tall, Andre. But it’s painful and I don’t fit too well.

I think space could be smoother, but idk if it's overrated. I rarely hear people rave about space the way they do BTMR. And I do believe it's a good attraction at least, stronger than Tron actually.

It is not “too expensive” to stay on Disney property. I’m talking All Stars up to the moderates. Not Deluxe which yes, can be very expensive for the average family.

The All Stars are great hotels.
My comparison: last summer my husband and I stayed at hotel near Weirs Beach/ Lake Winnipesaukee. It was right across the street from the pier & public beach. The hotel was… fine. Standard room with 2 queens and a bathroom. It was ok in terms of cleanliness but not at all modern or updated. We 100% paid for the location. Rates were $190-$210/night depending on weekday vs weekend. Prices at the All Stars are pretty much the same, even cheaper for certain times of the year. And rooms at the All Stars are so much nicer than these rooms. So I get annoyed when people complain Disney resorts are expensive. They are very much comparative and sometimes better than other similar hotels.

Mmm... as far as the rooms go even the deluxe WDW resorts aren't that nice. People don't stay on Disney property to have the nicest room. Plenty of other places around Orlando have nicer rooms, pools, etc. Disney is about staying on property and having unique ammeneties like the wild animals at AKL, or the theming at many of their different resorts.

I'm not really 'offended' by what you said, but as a general rule and as advice for the future, yes calling someone weird will usually be taken as an insult. I mean if you say, "John is weird," John will likely be offended by that.

PizzeRizzo is underrated. Yeah, you can get much better pizza on property but there is something about those mass produced pizzas that keep me going back.

I don't get the whole deal with calling people 'thin-skinned.' Sure you might be right, but if something offends someone, it's easy enough to just stop doing it, right? This is not necessarily referencing anyone on this thread, of course....just speaking in general terms

Yup, one of the worst movies ever made (if you’re sober), lol…saw it thru high school and college over 100 times…was cleaning rice out of my car for YEARS….

I agree. It's not a bad ride and definitely better than Ratatouille or Runaway Railway, but it does have most of the same problems that other recent trackless dark rides have.

Agree to some extent, the finale is a bit underwhelming which makes it feel off. The cannons not working is also a big part of why I loved the ride so much when it first opened.

The classic AA dark rides are where Disney excelled. My unpopular opinion is they should stick to that and leave the thrills to parks that do it well.
