Unknown Concept Art (Leak; Formerly Cirque Du Soleil Thread)

They’re known to be very good at what they do. The bottom line is don’t do it.
And here I was thinking someone broke into your house and stole the ever so coveted "Martins coffee table book".

On topic with this whole thing, obviously this person isn't very smart to post it on social media right? Private or not, it'll get out at some point. But on the other hand with how these pictures look, they have an artistic "flair" to them. Sure it's a leak, but it seems like a very well dressed leak juuuuuust enough to keep everyone guessing. If they were going to leak anything, wouldn't they try to get close ups in higher quality or a blurry, rushed picture? This feels off.

Then again, I'm used to fake leaks (companies teasing stuff through separate channels to build hype and curiousity) so I could be going off on my own here.

Now some new info:

So then why is someone in trouble?
Imagineers aren’t even supposed to discuss projects with other Imagineers who are not on a project team.

What makes this all seem so iffy is that it just doesn’t really line up with how Walt Disney Imagineering actually operates. It isn’t a tiny group that works on nearly everything and most design work is still based in California. People get relocated to surperive installation, not develop concepts unless they are also changing jobs to a local design group.

Some of those wall sketches look inspired by the Brandenburger Tor and Bauhaus. But I can make even less of those sketches than of this mistifying leak.

Original Poster
It look like it could be for the Main Street theater. Most of these posts were from november.
You might be on to something... Does anyone else think this picture looks like the concept art for the MK theater?

Because if it is real the mouse police are very efficient.

If this is real, someone committed career suicide and broke a string of NDAs. There’s no good reason to post this kind of stuff if one works for the Mouse. Maybe a contractor or visitor took the pics. I hope an actual Imagineer or CM wouldn’t be so stupid.

I fully support encouraging the fan base with exciting insider hints because it keeps the fans involved, but there’s a huge difference between piquing interest and posting internal docs.

For those who don't know about Mickey Veiws, he is a 16-ish Disney news YouTuber who got access to a supposed imagineer's Twitter account through a viewer of his. He already made videos on an "adopt a porg" system for Star Wars land and the Tomorrowland Speedway being redmodled to have a Tron theme and electric motors for the cars, both coming from the Imagineer's private account.

is so exciting about a vague image of “concept art” if you c

I see what looks like a barrel ride vehicle or something. The big demon head looks kind of strange for a disney park but the piece of above that looks to be Shiva Nataraja which is a Hindu god and means Lord of the Dance. Maybe this is something Animal Kingdom related if its even for WDW.

If that's supposed to be Shiva Nataraja then I believe that the green figure is supposed to be Pashupati which is the God/Lord of Animals in Hindu. Note the horns and the tiger/lion:

.

I think it's safe to assume that whatever this is takes it inspiration from Hindu/Indian influences. In the other thread for Guardians I examined that leaked artwork and thought it to have Moroccan inspiration but the style could actually be Indian textiles and artwork which means if the works are related we could be looking at an interior design for an Indian inspired theater and the show that would play in it. Im calling it now that this isn't for Disney...

I don't know about anyone else but I see Moroccan more than I do guardians in that "leaked art."

You have reference photos of the Moroccan tile work View attachment 261688

The big piece in the middle is a study of different textiles and clearly a study of tent draping and a hung decorative rugs/tapestries View attachment 261689

and then finally a reference of natural forces of nature.

Whatever this is, it isn't for Guardians. Unless they moved the project to Morocco

So who is good at detective work? We are looking for a possible new theater being built/refurbished in Spain (based on the "Guardians" artwork being in spanish and there being a good amount of Indians who practice Hinduism in Spain) that celebrates the Hindu culture or a current theater that will be staging a production based on Hindu Gods.

He also covers a whole lot of news a lot of other sites don't seem to cover. It's the only reason why I'm still subscribed to him. His voice is super annyoing.
