Here at Disney we have to protect all of our cast and and guests at all costs!

...like with a Harry Potter robe and a lightsaber? To me itās like some weird cosplay. But hey Iām sure people eat it up.
It is the fall in Brazil and temps in Rio have been in the 70ās consistently.
Thatās a complete exaggeration....Haven't read the whole thread, but glad to see reality sinking in with Disney that requiring everyone to wear masks in Orlando in the summer isn't feasible. That has nothing to do with anyone's "rights" -- it's just the reality of 95 degrees and 90% humidity.
Imagine the poor security guard tasked with running around in a downpour asking guests to pull back their poncho hoods so he can ensure their Stitch face mask is still covering their noses....thatās what Iām saying...
I would expect āgeneral complainceā if the weather complies...but not complete.
You mean the one hiding behind the overhang around the corner looking the other way?Imagine the poor security guard tasked with running around in a downpour asking guests to pull back their poncho hoods so he can ensure their Stitch face mask is still covering their noses.
I can confirm my observations have included the firm enforcement of selfie sticks and that there appears to be a pretty high level of compliance. In should say Iām not a local and only spend about 22 days a year on property. I witnessed enforcemenr on two separate occasions. Addressed by a CM at the entrance to POC. Was even offered a locker for free to store it in when she started to get cranky. Refused. Manager called and again offered this option. Refused to store it or take it out of the park. Manager politely let her know that she would need to leave the park if unwilling. The manager along with 2 security politely escorted her that way.Compliance levels are completely up to TWDC. If they are aggressively enforced with immediate ejections, compliance will not be a problem. The selfie stick ban was enforced fairly aggressively and took about a week to really stick.
Lol...Iāve been accused of being someone else on Disney forums for 20 years...but Iāve always been ājust meā
...in this case...a misunderstood nobleman.
Who asked the cast members? They didnt take a vote of every cast member. No one asked my husband what he wanted. This decision was backed by a few union representatives, not the cast as a whole.
Iām not saying NO CMs support this, but acting like every CM grateful for this rule is just as ridiculous as saying none want it either. CMs didnāt have a say.
If it was, they would.
And yet they havenāt. Hmmmm?? It looks like Captain America might be wrong.
Yeah, not really. Mid 70s is comfortable, but whatever if you you want to ignore how the seasons work in the Southern Hemisphere it is still summer in Brazil. So still warm. Thanks.
It just doesnāt work that way...Of course CMs had a say. Nobody is saying there is universal unanimity. But the union is the ELECTED leadership of the cast members. If the majority of cast members are really strongly opposed to this policy, the union leadership is in trouble.
Cross-mojinationAt least that would be original. I havenāt seen too many Harry Potters using a light saber.
I live in a city of approx 100,000 people. Weāve had 102 confirmed cases and 3 deaths.I dunno. Risks associated with the virus aren't the same everywhere. If I lived in NYC, I would probably wear a mask everywhere I go. Thankfully I don't, so I don't...

Cross-mojination
When a Jedi and a Wizard love each other very much...Isnāt that when you mix a mojito and another adult beverage of your choice?
That reality is not setting in. Lunatics are defending it with full heart and voice.Haven't read the whole thread, but glad to see reality sinking in with Disney that requiring everyone to wear masks in Orlando in the summer isn't feasible. My counter would be that that temperature dropping out of 90ās and upper 80ās and less sun exposure could be directly related to the spike in cases they are now experiencing.Comfortable yes. My point is that itās still warm in Brazil and they are seeing huge spikes in cases which blows a hole in the āheat kills the virusā nonsense.
Also, can you give me a comprehensive tutorial on seasons work? It is quite confusing!
