I believe the Epic lands will also have that.

I just hope the guest flow to the exits will be marked better than Hollywood's.

We were in USH for two days a couple weeks after official opening of SNW. The area had had a cold snap, so attendance in the park was low both days. We wandered in and out of SNW a couple times and for the most part guests allowed to flow freely through the entrance pipe in either direction.
Except the one time that they were regulating (or at least prepping to regulate) entrance into the land. There was nothing stopping us from walking back out through Peach's Castle. But when we got all the way outside, a TM made us walk all the way back into the land and around to the "official" exit that really only had one sign that blended in with everything else in the visually busy land. It would have helped to have signs or a TM stop us from going into Peach's Castle.

At least in Orlando the entrance will be up escalators and thus not as easy to go opposite the flow.

How long did it take to build Tron ride at Disney World?
The attraction, which took over five years to construct, is based on the popular TRON movie franchise and is located in Tomorrowland.
Universal Epic Universe is an upcoming theme park under construction in Orlando, Florida. Announced in August 2019, the park will be the fourth theme park at Universal Orlando, including the themed water park Volcano Bay. Construction was delayed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but resumed in March 2021. The park is scheduled to open in Summer 2025.

So is that 4 years for a theme park?

No because the timeline for TRON includes design time a lot of which is being excluded from Epic’s timeline.

The OLC -- held up by many here as the anti-Disney because of their professionalism -- is going to take 3 years to re-do their Space Mountain.

All of Pandora was built in three and a half years from groundbreaking.

And don't forget.... when a huge investment is made in a new park, the corporation wants to see a return on it as fast as possible. And they get *nothing* until the park opens. Meanwhile, they're paying interest service on that $6 Billion they borrowed.

Compare that to a project within an already successful and profitable park. They have no incentive to go "as fast as possible." The park is still running and turning a profit. They're not trying to set a speed record. This goes the same for when people point out how fast Disney built Disneyland or Epcot. Yeah, Disney went fast back then, they needed to make money on their investments -- any money; and they get none until the park opens... so... go fast!

Epic Universe will open six years after its announcement.
