Y'all calling Helios a generic Marriott is hilarious, when it was obviously inspired by The Bellagio in Las Vegas. And I personally think Helios is a lot prettier than The Bellagio.
There is a reason they went this route. And it ties in directly to the fact that the park is basically adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center. The self contained lands are perfect for corporate buy-outs. There is a whole ulterier motive to a lot of the decisions made.

How much of Helios do you think will be set aside for convention-goers and private groups that will be renting out a land or two?

Only the top brass of the companies will be at Helios. The non-executives and their families will be at Dockside.
I also think Helios will have a booming wedding business. A reception in the roof top ballroom will be popular.
