I noticed in some peoples videos that the characters walk around.

Has anyone ever interacted with some before? What about Doc from Back To The Future. Hahaa I see he is always on his bike riding around.

I would stop him and talk about the flux capacitor and Marty is in trouble and Biff stole it. I would just go in play with it. hahahaa

The characters there are pretty fun. Doc Brown is hilarious. We were getting our picture taken with WOody Woodpecker, and Curious George photobombed us through a restaurant window. UO is a really fun place. Completely different vibe to WDW, more upbeat and high energy as opposed to the mouse's peaceful nostalgiac vibe. They are a great contrast to each other on my trips and wouldn't do a trip without visiting all 6 parks.

The Marvel characters are very interactive with guests. . . Cyclops and Storm of the X-Men, Captain America, Spiderman. Good stuff.

On one trip several years ago, I saw Popeye as a foam head and as a face character on the same day. . . one outside his Bilge Rats attraction and the other in a parade. That was weird, but that was several years ago.

Oh, and the Grinch is outstanding! He is awesome -

The "Men In Black" that walk around are hilarious! I don't do M&G's myself, but it's always fun to stand back for a minute and watch their interactions with the other guests.
The "Men In Black" agents got me pretty good last year... Had a good laugh with them.. No matter how funny things got, they remained straight faced, serious, and in character the entire time...

Always had a great time with the Marvel characters...

I am bald and Doc Brown told me I look like Mr. Strickland. I called him a slacker. Then I asked him why did they take his ride out of the park and he said his ride is actually still in the park, its just in the past. It was the highlight of our trip.

We had a fun/strange interaction with the Grinch. He was standing there in his section for pictures and refused to take a picture with my daughter. He was maybe a little too into the character. It was funny that he was snubbing my daughter, but it did get a little old. He pointed to a spot about 5 feet away from him for a picture. Is that the norm for the Grinch. I know he's the Grinch, but come on pose with the little girl.

Haha! Maybe a little overkill. What day was this?

The foam was the Toon Island character at IoA, and the live is the Robin Williams character from the movie at the Studio. No, I don't know why either. :cautious: (The movie was Paramount/Disney.)

The characters roam a little more, but stay within their thematic areas.
One time at the Studio, tried to get a picture with Marilyn outside Schwab's drugstore, but Lucy, on my left, kept monopolizing my attention with her 1954 movie-star magazine.

I LOVE the characters at Universal- I've had great encounters with Scooby & gy and Lucille Ball. But the best one was one day I was on my own on a slow mid-week day (I often get Tues, Weds off from the hospital for working weekends) and turned around on a practically empty Hollywood Blvd. to see Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty. We chatted for a while and the whole group posed for several pics. It was great. I LOVE that characters walk around and interact- I don't mind admitting that I remember that from the "good old days" at WDW and I miss it.
Oh, I LOVE the Marvel characters, too! They really have an exciting intro, it gets me all pumped up!
