I thought the front of the park was supposed to look like set buildings?
It's not a set, it's supposed to be a "N.E.S.T" facility.

As @disney fan 13 stated, the building is not done up to look like a soundstage. What bothers me the most is that it is made up to look like three floors that are all much larger in implied floor-to-floor height than the nearby facades, making the large, ugly structure appear even larger and more imposing.I thought the front of the park was supposed to look like set buildings?
I like Transformers building... I think it's themed pretty well, actually. But that's besides the point.
It was inevitable, due to the location. It's just a giant E-Ticket in the middle of the park. You can't hide it with one fancy facade... It's visible from all sides. If I couldn't see it from every single part of the park I would let it go, but it's a big industrial stickered looking building that you can see from New York, London, Kidszone, everywhere.
It's not noticeable unless you're near it or looking at it on the bridge. I assume you haven't seen it in person?Which means you can see that eyesore from every part of the park. Terrible.
Maybe if you're looking down a lot. It's not noticeable unless you're near it or looking at it on the bridge. I assume you haven't seen it in person?
Nope. It's like you guys are moonwalking with seeing the building and about it is your priority.Maybe if you're looking down a lot.

You can see Spaceship Earth at every point in Epcot, RUINS THE VIEW.I wish we could complain about themeing on a giant e-ticket addition in WDW.
Except that Spaceship Earth has an elegant, iconic design that speaks to both the message of the attraction, land and park. Transformers: The Ride-3D is a big grey box cluttered up with overly obvious decals arrange in proportions inconsistent with its context. You can see Spaceship Earth at every point in Epcot, RUINS THE VIEW.

Twice, will see it again for AP previews in 20 something days. And you've got to be blind or have some major blinders on to not see it from Simpsons, San Fran, New York etc.
He said there would be a Dragon, he left everything else vague.
Universal Studios is supposed to be a "studio" and so, like DHS, I like the studio lot feel of the various areas, knowing that in a real studio, they'd only care about certain sightlines.Well gee, the ride is RIGHT NEXT TO NEW YORK. Didn't I say you can see it close up? And by bridge I meant the Simpsons bridge.
