I like it and I don't...I like the beat to it...but on the flipside...it sounds like every remix on the radio.

I saw the Joshua Tree tour in Tampa Stadium. Stood in line for 2 days with some friends. We had almost as much fun waiting in line as we did at the concert. I must say, it was the BEST concert I ever went to. I was not even a huge fan before the show. I am now. Bono and The Edge know how to do it right. :wave:

(Seen them three times and was "Wow'd" each time).

Ok, it's out...whatcha think?

The first time I listened...I was a little disappointed.

The next time I listened...I liked it a little more.

Third time...I like it even more.

I think I was disappointed because I was hoping for "Two Hearts" or "I Will Follow"...(because that's what Vertigo reminded me of)...and I got more of a softer sound.

That being said, this isn't a BAD album (no pun intended)...it's just not what I was expecting by the first single released. It's one of those albums that you grow to like...but probably won't like it right away.

I got it a couple weeks ago :lookaroun and it took a few days to grow on me. But, that's the way their cds have been for a while...not what you expect at first, but growing to love with time.

Ok, well, I've listened to it 5 times all the way through now...and wow...after realizing how I first felt about it...I was premature in my review! They are musical geniuses...

If you're looking for a bunch of fun sing-along catchy tunes...this is not the cd for you. If you're looking for solid MUSIC and meaningful lyrics, pick this up!
