Two Questions re 2009

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been away for a while. Finally graduated and working my butt off :sohappy:

So, I'm planning spring break '09 (Xmas '08 is out now since I'm teaching) and I'm wondering when the "seasons" will be announced. Our break is March 28-April 5 (about the same time as I went this year) but Easter (April 12) is later rather than earlier. Any guesses on regular or peak season?

Second, I made a contact through e-bay who has 100% feedback. He's got an OKW studio for 5 nights, the dates I want for '09 for about $600. Any experiences? Take it or book my regular mod resort through Disney?

Rates for 2008 came out in August last year. I would expect that 2009 rates will be released about the same time this year.

That doesn't sound like a bad rate for OKW, but I've never booked a resort with anyone on Ebay so I don't know it it's a good idea or not. If that really is a valid rate, it sounds like it would be less than the moderate resorts and maybe about the same as one of the values. I've seen the rooms at OKW and they're pretty nice and a lot more spacious than either the mods or the values.

You can also check the disboards.com to rent points as well. A little more security to check out the DVC member. $600 is pretty good. I am staying at OKW in Jan 2009 thru a friend that is a DVC member there. She actually lets points go to waste, I told never to waste those points...call me!

Take OKW. It is a nice place. It is a little older and a little further away but it has nice and spacious rooms. It also has a nice little restaurant.
