Two questions about Disney for you all.

Im laughing as I read the topic of this board because just last night I had the sudden urge to whip out my disney classic cds. When I listened to the MSEP music I started to cry! I felt like such a baby, but it made me all emotional you know? It brought back great memories of my childhood at Disneyland. The theme to Fantasmic always gives me the chills, and it gets me so pumped up. I also love the Spectromagic music. The song always reminds me of the MK at night. They go hand in hand, and it makes me want to be there. The Mk is gorgeous at night!

Im obsessed with the IllumiNations music. I can't get enough. Closely followed by SpectroMagic, and then Fantasmic! leaving music...and oh! it goes on and on...

The worst moment visually for me is emerging from under the train station at entrance to MK and seeing the castle at the end of Main Street just looks so brilliant!
Wow i love that castle.

I also break down whenever I watch the planning DVDs or watch a doccumentry on TV and they play the music. I have to leave the room every time...
:o
I just love that place!!!
:sohappy:

Since I went to WDW last Easter, I get emotional whenever I watch all of these Disney travel shows I taped off of the Travel Channel.

The songs that always make me think of WDW are When You Wish Upon a Star & A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.

1) Yes...just the other day I was watching home videos with my bestfriend and I got teary eyed. It's horrible but, it's just such a happy place.

2) When I listen to Fantasmic, Tapestry of Nations, or Spectromagic I get sad.

Being English I have to maintain a stiff upper lip and not get emotional about such things ;)

Music is a matter of the mood I am in, but I love when approaching the entrance to a park and you can start to hear the background music (particularly at Animal Kingdom) :D

I am curious on these two questions.

1) When you think about Disney, do you get emotional?

I love Disney, I can't get enough. I'd live there if I could. I know that when I am older ( I am 17 ) I am going to save for a full two week vacation and do EVERYTHING.

2) What song(s) get you the most worked up at Disney?

For me, I think the whole ride of Spaceship Earth gets to me. It is very dramatic, and it really does bring a tear to my eye every once in awhile. I absolutely love it.

1) I don't get emotional, I just wish I was there.
2)Either Zipa-dee-do-da or One Little Spark are my favorite song.

Oh my gosh, I get sooo emotional. I just love Disney too much.

As for the music I really enjoy any of the Fantasyland area music, specifically the tea cups. Also I love the Baroque Hoedown from MSEP. The original is my absolute favorite parade because it makes me think of my visits when I was little!

I get really emotional when I think about Disney. It's my favorite place in the world, I would really live up there if I could. I miss it to the point of crying, sometimes, I feel homesick...

For me, it's the Wishes song. Man, that's sooooooo beautiful, so moving.... I usually don't listen to it at home, unless it's really close to a trip to WDW, to get me in the mood. I would never listen to it with no WDW plans going on, it would make me feel sad, then. The Spectromagic song also gets me misty-eyed, whenever I listen to it.

Although, I'll admit, the Wife got very emotional when I took her there for her first trip a few years ago.

Just seeing the entrance got her crying. Much less everything else.

My three daughters and I are hopelesly addicted. So its doesn't take much to get us very emotional, anything can trigger it.

The one song that has always gotten to us is Spectromagic. Its just the best song and it empitomizes the magic of Disney. On our last trip in November, the morning leaving our home and backing out of our driveway to head to WDW, I popped one of our Disney CD's in and tuned it to Spectromagic.
The music got to us and we all started  .(It had been 2 years since our last visit and it seemed like forever.) Now my 8 year old won't even let me play Spectromagic in our home or car, because she wants to cry when she hears it, knowing trips for us are few and far between. (And to be honest I know exactly how she feels, I fight the tears back myself). The song is just beautiful and special to us.
