This is the second time this thread has been bumped out of hibernation.

Pretty soon we'll be reading about an altercation at the Food and Wine festival (or was it Flower and Garden?) again.

Instead of locking old threads, maybe Steve can create a section on the site for old threads, such as these.. That way, if people want to read an old thread and comment, they can without messing with the more current, up to date threads??? Other sites I am on do this and it works wonders....

I think it's a pretty simple task to simply look at the date of the posts in question.

To quote someone else..."Geesh"

Or about the appearance of the Kitchen Kabaret on the rose path...

OK everyone ... I admit - I answered BEFORE I saw the date!!!!:ROFLOL:

I did the same thing on another Disney-related discussion board, and boy did I get flamed for it.

Perhaps the web designer can put in some kind of warning - Old Post - Very Old Post - Gosh, I can't believe how old this post is!:lol:

Perhaps I'm playing Devil's Advocate here but why is it such a flame-worthy thing to bump an old thread? I've never really gotten that. Yeah it's an old thread, yeah the info might be out dated but is that a big a deal as some forums make it out to be? Here at WDWMagic we don't make a fuss nearly as much as other forums I'm a part of but I'd still like to know why.

As for the topic itself, I think there is still a lesson to be learned despite how old the original topic may be. We should all pay more attention to the world around us even at Disney. God forbid the child was left alone for longer and died, one observant person can save a life.
