It's more expensive than Express pass by quite a bit, but relative to the other VIP tours, this is a bargain. I don't see it as anything I would ever do, but I could see someone that's limited on time doing this.

That has to be the market they're going for with these. Doesn't make much sense to do it otherwise.

I'm doing the vip tour at Disneyland in February. Is there anything anyone can recommend. I heard it is rare but possible you might get into club 33...never hurts to ask. Company expense, we are going to Nafam..so company is paying for the tour.

If "check in is at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant" but park admission is not required... how does that work? How do you get through the entry gates of the park without a ticket?

So you meet at MK, end up at DAK, I guess they transport you back to MK, but then you're done around 3pm and if you want to go back to the parks you have to use a ticket???

That's an excellent question. Once the tour is done, can you stay at DAK or re-enter MK/DHS? It becomes a better value IMHO if after hitting those 10 attractions, you get to have free time in the parks.

Probably meet at guest relations

Guess it's the same as Backstage Magic tour - don't think you need a park ticket for that.

Sounds like something my DBF's sister would eat up. Her daughter is only 1.5 and she already asks me how much VIP tours etc are. Of course this is a family that usually pays for VIP tours for special occasions anyways (5 year bday at Disney World and 16 bday at Universal) so this would actually save them some.

Admission to the parks is much less.. I can't imagine that this doesn't come with park admission for the day.

and table service lunch, and a VIP tour guide, and entry to 3 parks.

Probably not a bad deal if you want to hit highlight attractions, get a lunch, and be transported around by someone who knows what they are doing. I can see a lot of people making use of this.

Awesome. So you can literally do all of the exciting stuff at WDW (thrill wise), get fed, and be done and out in one day. More time for other parks up the street.

Good job Disney.

This is a great idea for people who are in Florida and have 1 day to see stuff. I now have answer to my friends who ask me how to see Disney World in one day. But I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. This kind of Commando style doesn't really give a good view into what makes Disney parks different than others.

The Backstage Tour did not require park admission, however, you had to stay with the group and if you decided to stay in a park (which you could do) you were escorted to the entrance where you could either buy a day ticket or use an existing one. No hang around freebee.

I suspect that these have the same requirement. Basically you are paying for park admission (6 hours worth), a meal, tour guides and transportation to those three parks. I doubt that this has changed at all. Nothing new except the focus of the tour. It's been handled like that for years. The Keys to the Kingdom tour required park admission, did have a free lunch and was a guided walking tour. You got to ride on a couple of pre-determined rides, but only about two if I remember correctly.

I agree that this is more or less for the people that are just there for a day or so. I couldn't see doing one of these tours on a 7 day package stay. Unless you like to hand Mickey some more $ ;) I'm sure he would gladly take it:D BTW, I still love my World, it will always be my happy place:)

I just booked the Ultimate Thrills for 7/20 on my honeymoon, and as a heads up, the terms said that it does not include park admission and a park hopper is required for this tour.

He also said that the first tour they are booking for the Ultimate Thrills is on Friday, 7/18.

Sounds fun, but exhausting! 3 parks in one day can be very tiring!
Not really. The Backstage tour was 8 hours and was in three parks. Epcot, DHS and MK along with the laundry facilities, workshop and bus trips to all those things, plus a huge lunch at Whispering. But every entry to the parks is the back way and I'm sure that the path that is followed is very direct. Not all that tiring. You spend a lot of time sitting on the bus or at lunch.

OK, wow, if that is true then it is a cash grab. Don't do it people! You're being ripped off.

Okay I spoke too soon...I was on hold while booking and posted my above reply. He just came back and said the system isn't letting him book the tour yet. I'm on hold again...
