Two Days - is it worth it?

I may be able to head down to Orlando in a week and a half. I would have to basically pay for everything - airfare, hotel, eating, etc. And also tickets. The problem is, I am only going to be able to spend two days there, max. I have already been there plenty of times, so it's not like I would spend all my time in one park, so I would have to add park hopper to it. And I don't, for various reasons, want to by extra tickets to use later.

I don't know, should I go or not?

for me, I wouldn't bother going for just 2 days, that is a lot of travel and a lot of expense. Considering you won't have much time anywhere really, but the airport.

(I have a 7 month old, so have to pack his, mine and DH's stuff, along with baby food and formula, diapers, this is my reason I wouldn't go)

Well, if it helps, I've flown from Fort Lauderdale to MCO to be at Disney by 9 AM only to leave by 8 PM and be back home by 11 PM same day. :ROFLOL: TRUE STORY!

Dh and I have done 2 two day trips and 1 two day trip with the kids. We usually head down to Naples for a beach trip as well, so the travle time is being spent anyway. We have park hopped when it was the two of us and it was great. We did what we wanted and moved on to the next park. With the kids we stay put in one park and that is fun too, more time to enjoy the Disneyness of whatever park we are in (usually MK).
Now is it worth $$ wise or fun wise? $$$ wise you know your finainces, I cannot enjoy anything if I know I should not be spending money on whatever it is, even Disney. Fun wise yes, GO GO GO, wish I had the time and the chance......:brick:

This weekend will be my second 2 day trip this year. We're AP holders so it's a matter of getting a good room rate and finding cheap flights. If you can afford it, I say go. Two days is better than no days IMHO..........:)

Go for it!! Like you said, you've been there before so you won't have to spend all day at one park. You can just hit the attractions/shows that you enjoy the most and then move on to the next park. I think it would be worth it as long as you can afford the expense. Have fun

yes you should go! You've been to the parks before so you can go on exactly what you want and skip your not-so-favorite attractions. You will definitely be able to get your money's worth since you can maximize your time to the fullest. Have a safe trip :)

It depends on you

I say go for it! Just that you posted here makes me think you really want to but are holding back due to, perhaps, cost or feeling you won't get enough ROI (return on investment). Why would you be going, specifically? Do you want to go to Florida for some sunshine and relaxation and Disney is a place you love?

Do know where you'd like to stay, if they have rooms? Can you arrange flights to and from Orlando that work well with your timing? Do you want to see one park more than the others? If I had the opp., I'd go just for Animal Kingdom because I've never been there. I'd try to do the entire AK, and spend the rest of the time enjoying a resort property. If you're going on your own, you can do a lot to limit your expenses once you're there. I'm a light eater (two simple meals per day works fine) and I don't buy a lot of souvenirs.

If you decide to go, post here later and tell everyone if it was worth it.

I actually don't know why I want to go. I have something else to do in Orlando, but it is not a big important thing and not worth a trip in itself. I think it has something to do with getting paranoid about the Spaceship Earth thing. That, and to see blue sky and green grass again.

I would have no problem with the schedule, and to be honest there isn't a ton I want to see - probably a half day or so at AK, half day or so at MK, and then maybe 3/4 at Epcot with the rest exploring the resorts. Which is kind of the problem - not much to spend $140 in tickets and spend two days traveling for.

I have to see if I can get the time off this late in the game, so that's the big holdup right now.
