YES,YES Tusker for sure. Its the best breakfast and the best character with Mickey and the gang. Chef Mickeys is so blah in taste . This is not African flavor but they have the BEST juice. You'll be full on it alone, ha ha

Second is Crystal. They are the must haves for sure at least once a trip and 2 if we go long enough.

I went to Tusker for the first time last month for breakfast. It was fantastic! They have a great and huge selection of food. I am typically not a breakfast eater, but I found plenty to eat. I was really impressed and will eat there again.

We've been to Tusker House for breakfast many times and never had a bad experience...until our September trip. The food was all sorta "meh", the area we were sitting in was utter chaos, and our server was a nightmare. Took us 20 minutes to get something to drink. Refills never happened. 30 minutes to get the check after we were able to send up the smoke signal to get our waitress to come back. It was awful. The worst was the big ol' hair in my oldest son's food. That was just :hurl:. We let a manager know on our way out so she could at least address the wait staff issue. There were lots of other families in our area that were seriously unhappy. It was just nuts. Not so sure we'll go back. To be fair, our dining preferences are evolving as our boys grow up. We're looking for more peace and quality vs. characters and hullabaloo. :D

Tusker is one of my family's favorite character breakfasts. Actually went twice on our last trip. Service can be hit or miss, and the food was just ok this trip. The characters come by quickly, so have the cameras ready. One of the main reasons for booking here is to get in the park before rope drop, and be on the first Safari ride. I would definitely try it once, just book early before park opening. I'll book it on future trips, but probably not twice on one trip.

We have been to Tusker House twice now and the first time was much better than the first...but nothing is ever the same twice. Its a change from the normal buffee, they had opetions you will not get anywhere else. I am a strong beliver in your server will make or break the meal and I think that was part of our problem the go around. Try to schedule this meal for a day when AK open on time and go early and that will put you deeper in the park before normal open!!! Will just give you head start on the crowd and more relaxed walk in. Give it try you will like much better than Chef Mickey.

Have only been once last trip and it was great! Our waiter was awesome; talking it up with my kids. Characters came at good times. The food is good and different then other buffets. I also felt like it was less chaotic then somewhere like Chef Mickey's but that might have just been on the day I went.

I would definitely recommend going.

if you're interested in meeting Daisy, then it is worth it. However, on some days it's just not worth the trouble since the CMs who usually maintain traffic for the Donald Duck photo op can be rude on some days, and very insistent that you keep the line moving. And if you want to see donald and get an autograph, don't bother, because they don't tell anyone about it until the autograph books come out in the open. Unfortunately, i believe that the upcoming character lunch is definitely not worth it, since it will be the same staff issues with breakfast, along with the same characters (instead of making it different by having Terk, Rafiki, Timon and Baloo tag along with Mickey and friends).

We've only been once and it was a disaster. It didn't help that our bus was super late and we had to run from the AK entrance to make our ADR. We had poor service, the characters were totally not into it (Daisy was the worst, but Goofy's lack of goofing wasn't far behind), and at 8:10a - the food should be fresh...which it wasn't.

That being said- I've read too many positive reviews to totally write it off for future trips, but it's certainly not a must do for us either.

Food is o.k. nothing special, however I do love the juice, but I can get it at Ohanna which has a much better breakfast. Tusker house always seems to be overbooked. No matter when you show up or when your reservation is plan on spending an extra half hour to get in. I don't recomend, but there is not a lot of options at AK. Jambo
