Turkey Leg Boy, are you really a new member, or one of the regulars pulling my leg? :D Pardon the pun! If you're new, I apologize for questioning your username. It's just that I have this thing about the giant turkey legs (maybe because we raised chickens when I was little, and I had to feed the dumb things. I still have nightmares about giant fowl attacks!) Anyways, I do exaggerate my aversion to them in a feeble attempt at humor...which some people have taken rather seriously from time to time. If you are a regular, LOL. If you're really new, welcome to the forum, and please don't be offended. Honest, I don't really hate any food items, I just don't like to eat or see people eating certain ones!

In my opinion...yes....just remember to grab a stack of napkins and get your drink BEFORE you get your turkey leg...they dont give you a fork or knife to use...so you are going to have yuor hands full ;)

It is worth the taste to have a turkey leg at Frontierland, after the two mountains...never before them!:hurl: However, they are really expensive. I think 4 dollars is too much for just a leg, but I can't resist.

I actually think the opposite...I think thats a damn good price to pay for a full meal ;)

Isnt it ironic how this is the first time a Chit chat thread has drifted onto a VALID topic???

On my most recent visit to the MK, I saw a lot of people gobbling turkey legs and it doesn't bother me that much. To each his own, etc. My problem came while I was watching the parade - the family next to me passed around their turkey leg and knawed on it in turn. Since somehow I had managed to become surrounded by them, the leg was passed around all around me! I am a kinda honorary vegetarian (my 2 sisters are vegatarian and so I eat a lot of tabouleh and hummus  ). I got a little grossed out. Sharing popcorn is fine but a turkey leg? Yuck! :hurl:

I don't think so, considering the gulls can surprise anytime!!!
It never happened to me, but I saw a some poor guys whose newly-bought legs were stolen by some gulls and also enjoyed by them, too.

Perhaps this belongs in the "Stupid things you've heard tourist say" Thread but here goes ... Are the turkey legs real and perhaps more importantly, what happened to the rest of the turkey.

On second thought maybe we shouldn't think about that.
