TTA Refurbishment on schedule?

^ ^ They didn't bother to clean the track or mold along it or make the vehicles look nice, or fix the lighting.

If they don't make the ride as "like new" as possible, then what's the point of extended refurbishments?

Work done for the Astro Orbiter/rotating loading area

1. The new paint scheme could likely be just the first and the beginning for the overall change in color to Tomorrowland. Think Future World, the new paint scheme appeared in just one section and then imploded in subsequent months.

Wondering what the difference between imploded and exploded is in the case of Future World's new paint scheme.

For those who hate the new colors: it could be worse: thinking orange & regalia (purple)
(ducking for cover from Clemson fans) ... or brown and yellow, or Future World.

I love color but I don't know if I'd throw out purple and orange or green and red as the alternative choice for architecture but purple and orange are beautiful, cheerful colors.

Not much cheerful or attractive about the shades of brown. Likely why the bridezillas want to put the grooms Mom in beige/browns.

Or dormant trees. Flowering Spring colors of threes makes me happier that brown sticks.

I love how colorful WDW is. I'll take greens, oranges and reds over browns any day. Or at least restrict the browns more to Animal Kingdom and the Wilderness Lodge where it is more fitting.

Yea if they can't bring the 70's blue and white scheme back to the whole land, then this is the next best thing. I'm all for more orange, red, and avocado!!

Interesting choice of colors. I seem to recall colors such as this in what is now Cosmic Rays many many years ago. On the walls and carpet as well. Perhaps old in new again as another person has stated.

Remember the old paper gift bags? White, orange, purple and red.

Is the lack of a REAL refurb possibly due to having to update the ADA requirements to be able to access the TTA? Which if true is real sad since it is 2014 and all...

I am not sure if they can make the peoplemover ADA compliant. It would require a lot of structural changes to the area. In its current form you can still get on by going up the escalators as they have no steps. And, you will still need to walk to board the ride.

oh no..don't give them ideas!
I don't mind the new colors, but next thing you know Space Mountain will look like the new paint at Epcot, with each panel being a different color.
