TTA *might* be open tomorrow 9/1/09

During an exit interview, was asked what rides didn't you get to do, my answer - TTA. Reply from the man in white, try tomorrow, it should be open.

Realize I am typing this very late, I'm tired and I have not read the other 50+ pages on the other TTA thread. If this is old/totally incorrect/whatever lock & file. Otherwise take it for what it is, unconfirmed/rumor until tomorrow.

Decorations are coming along for Halloween, Toontown got some treatments in the garden/yards in the last couple of days.

And as I said to the wife, Hon, I know what I'm going to do when we get back from vacation - Giant Mickey Pumpkin !

Perhaps it's a soft opening, to get a feel or reaction to the work/progress done to it?

This is rather exciting news! If anyone does in fact ride it today, put up some pictures or videos.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for a soft opening of TTA this week. It was communicated LAST minute to cast, if at all, the the reopening had been delayed again to the 12th.

I've heard that the Sept 12th opening might be pushed back so don't get your hopes up, but I could be wrong.

Yeah today (the 1st) was the original adjusted opening date. It was pushed back to the 12th on Friday. I think this is just a case of that CM not having the latest info.

I heard the same thing from a CM; in fact the cm told me that they (cm's) are not even getting a test run first. It opens for everyone today.

That CM is running on the old adjusted date, it's currently set for reopening on Sep 12, but having been changed now twice, I wouldnt be surprised to see it pushed back again.

question? does Uni have exclusive on all characters east of Miss. or just ones currently being used, and is it onlt for theme parks? If not, this opend up WDW to themed resturants, stores, or maybe water park. A great themed water park could maybe force Uni's hand to just re-theme. That or Disney could just rent a bunch of bill boards on I-4 stating Marvel - a Disney company

my friend is a cm that works in that area and said that it will not open before the 12th because of issues that came up that they didnt realize. So they are taking care of the issues so guests can enjoy tta and couldnt make the sept 1st deadline

Yeah, sorry for any thoughts of our own dragon! News is just coming so rapid-fire these past days! It's a good time to be a Disney fan... except for those pesky delays.

I had heard that it would open tomorrow, too...despite all the changes.

Either way....We shall see. Maybe the lights will be done!
