If that was a serious concern, they wouldn’t allow guests out of enclosed buildings during storms.Well lightning can still travel under a canopy, you need to be completely enclosed to be protected from lightning.

It rained nearly the whole time we were there. Don't remember lightening, but rode for sure in the rain. The canopy is massive and we were perfectly dry under it.Has anyone been to Shanghai DL during a t-storm? They do have storms there. Curious if it closes.
Is there a single MK attraction that's actually hitting that number? Maybe TTA?At MK it needs to be 2500+.
I believe HM, IASW, PeopleMover, POTC. Under the Sea and Space about 2000.Is there a single MK attraction that's actually hitting that number? Maybe TTA?

Some of those seem high, but it’s admittedly hard to get these numbers without stalking the exit for weeks. Splash 2300? Feels like 1200. And that Speedway number makes me chuckle (not at you, at the number).
I figured it was something like that. They're definitely all theoretical max. Most of them I tried to watch videos of them to get their dispatch rate.

Carousel and Small World are are large people eaters because of what they were designed for - the NY World's Fair, which drew significantly more than Disney does. Pirates added more rows to increase capacity, but by the luck of the design (using Small World's flume system) made it possible. I don't think Big Thunder, Spash does anywhere near what was posted.I believe HM, IASW, PeopleMover, POTC. Under the Sea and Space about 2000.
You just need to find the average load time for a ride. If 6 people leave the loading station every 20 seconds (A full ride vehicle at max efficiency) then it will take 1,080 people an hr. This of course doesn't include down time and slow load times. Some of those seem high, but it’s admittedly hard to get these numbers without stalking the exit for weeks. Splash 2300? Feels like 1200. And that Speedway number makes me chuckle (not at you, at the number). PPF 1900?
isnt that dependent on the number of logs used? Some of those seem high, but it’s admittedly hard to get these numbers without stalking the exit for weeks. Splash 2300? Feels like 1200. And that Speedway number makes me chuckle (not at you, at the number). PPF 1900?
Dispatch interval and load rate. If you just add more logs, they stack throughout the ride, which is obnoxious for the guest.Splash has had issues lately, every time I rode last week my log would get held up multiple times by a log jam starting just before the roller coaster drop or right after it. Hopefully the refurb fixes some of those issues.
Refurb won’t fix that. That’s an issue with operations not maintenance or upkeep.Splash has had issues lately, every time I rode last week my log would get held up multiple times by a log jam starting just before the roller coaster drop or right after it. Hopefully the refurb fixes some of those issues.
