Looks like that expansive (and expensive!) canopy will get its first real test with this week's expected wind and rain event. I hope they don't have to regrade all that exposed dirt between the concrete path sections already poured!

That'll be the fate of the construction they've done on the Magnolia golf course beside Floridian Way. They've built this nice new dune right beside a new water hazard that has no tarping or sod. Its going to get flat rather fast.

It better be able to handle 60 mph winds! The wind seen yesterday is no worse than what can be seen during summer thunderstorms in Central Florida.

The comment was about the structure which has been complete for some time. The ETFE roof has also been installed for awhile. Even then, EPCOT Building Code 904.2(b) requires wind loads during construction to be considered.
