But you have already stated that you don't even like the new Tron attraction. So why are you here still trying to beat it to death?

The only "negative" thing I've said, that you claim, is that DHS should take the "studios" name out of their title because it isn't a working studio anymore.

I don't know who you are or what your secret agenda is, but when you are only hours into your membership here and you spout all of this negativity on the biggest news that WDW has had in years, you don't make a good impression on anyone.
Yeah now your making a bad impression of yourself instead Medusa.

Maybe a disgruntled DLR fan.

Currently it's my third favorite behind FJ and Spidey.

F&F is the Mermaid equivalent, not Kong.

I compared the excessive queue to the ride in my post above not that Kong is at Mermaid's level -- it's not. Mermaid is a C-ticket, and Kong is an E, but there can be flaws in each that are similar. Both have a lackluster ride experience for their scale, especially when it comes to the queue. I really like Kong, IMO it's at least in the top 8 at Universal, but the ride itself also has a ton of flaws. Even screens aside the story is just so haphazard, but that does not mean I cannot enjoy it. It's not a debate between Uni or Disney as they both make idiotic mistakes, or have budgetary restraints look at the Mickey ride for instance!

For Ratatouille, the ride has a far superior story and pacing, but it also uses screens excessively... a huge flaw IMO. What it does right though is that the queue is good, but it treats the ride for what it is; it's not excessive. It's no headliner, but it is a solid E that treats itself as such. The more the merrier when it comes to theming, but it's obvious that The Little Mermaid and Kong did not need that epic queue for what the ride was.

I understand you like it, but that doesn't mean you can't point out its flaws...
Anyway, the discussion is about Tron, so let's get back to that.

It's flaws just aren't equal to Mermaid's imo. This is the Tron thread though so maybe we should stop.

Will the ride vehicles play Daft Punk's score? Please, please, please.

I'm glad we're getting this in FL.

BUT a Tron ride would have actually made some sort of coherent sense in EPCOT, instead of that dumbass space cartoon thing they're putting in the Energy pavilion.
If you watch just about any POV on Youtube, you can hear a little of Derezzed and some other songs in there and the main theme at the end of the ride. It isn't straight Daft Punk but it's safe to say it's about 90%.

For me, this announcement was great to hear! WOW! Call me very, very excited! Ever since Shanghai's was announced and the concepts were made public i was wishing I could experience it. Sitting on TRON light cycles on a coaster? Yes please! I saw it was mentioned it's 57mph. But I think sitting up, sort of exposed and in a crouched position like riding on a bike will make the sensation feel pretty fast!

I can not wait for this one!!!!!

I am soooooo beyond excited for this!!!!!!! It was honestly the rumor I didn't believe, because I always think they are trying to funnel people out of Magic Kingdom... this ride is just what Tomorrowland needs! Not a closure of anything, but a freaking ADDITION. Is this the disney I know?!!! Ahhhhhh I cannot wait to ride

TRON Lightcycle Power Run was created as Shanghai Disneyland’s version of Space Mountain. That is not some arbitrary goalpost, it is a fact of the attraction’s creation.

I can see why some may see this as a negative. I guess it would be somewhat equivalent to Everest being built adjacent to the Matterhorn at Disneyland? But is that such a very bad thing in this case in Tomorrowland? I mean, if both are amazing and incredibly fun experiences and fit with the theming for the most part. I don't see a real issue or a problem with it.

It goes 60 MPH.

Even better!
