Thank you for all the warm thoughts. I'm still not ok enough to talk much, but wanted to touch base and let you know that we are all hanging in there. The cross country team is having a run in her honor this Wednesday. If anyone feels moved, we would love to have you run/walk/jog the 1.25 miles virtually in her honor.

Also meant to say that it was a horrific accident, but her death was near instantaneous so she didn't suffer.

Just a small update on baby girl.
She and her mom will be coming home today. She was jaundiced and they wouldn’t release her till today.
She’s doing well and going to be quite the birthday gift
to her big sister who turns 2 tomorrow!
Oh, and her name is Lana Faye!

I had a great aunt named Lana Faye!Thanks, and that was actually what they were going for. The Lana (Lana Turner), and Faye was actually one of Gary's favorite aunt's name.
