Trip Package Luggage Tags Missing!

Hmmmm this is all very interesting to me....
We booked a MYW package in April through a travel agent and got everything. However now we are leaving in 14 days (on a trip that we booked directly through Disney) on another MYW package and all we have got so far are is the ME stuff.
Now you've got me thinking that I should call
It's not a big deal since I do have luggage tags from April. However we have a friend coming who has never been and it would have been nice for her to get one.
I should have got this seperate package by now correct?

An update.....
I got the rest of our package in the mail yesterday. So the package with the luggage tags and coupons came about a month after the ME package.
Good thing I didn't get around to calling them yesterday I would have felt like an idiot since it was sitting in my mailbox
So you may be safe since your luggage tags haven't come yet. We leave in 2 weeks. You hopefully will get yours soon!!!!

If this gives you any idea, I just received mine yesterday, and I am going Sept. 16. I received my Magical Express booklet about a week and a half ago.

Yeah, its just really been frustrating. I mean I ask you dont know pick a phone and call for me. I sold her 3 other vacations besides mine for people that heard about my deal and wanted in on it and I sent them to her.

I know this is going to sound funny, but I wonder what Liberty Travel does with all of those package items??? I have this very funny mental image of some guy sitting around in a main office somewhere with a ton of luggage tags scattered around him!!! Belle

On Monday Im gonna call coorperate and ask them. I cant imagine every travel agency getting these packages but not a national agency. That does not even sound right.

Hey there, I Am SURE they get the packages, it is what they do with them that I Am not certain of. Calling Corporate might be your best bet. As I said before I would imagine having so many different branches that the packages are probably sent to one central adress and processed there. If Liberty doesnt use the paperwork supplied by Disney, your agent may never have even SEEN a Disney package such as you are describing to her. Belle

Not sure if this will get you to the right place, but after checking the Liberty Travel website and seeing that the company is based in Ramsey, NJ, I did a phone book search and came up with 201-934-3500.
The only other thing I could find on their website was the "Service Feedback" page, which is just a web form submission, not a phone number.

I went to the website and tried to get numbers, a contact us, anything...All they had was a thing that said cant find what your looking for. So I clicked that and it was like an email form and I basically asked if I am getting it, and how we go to PH every year and do the mini golf with the vouchers and are really not happy nobody knows anything about it where I got my vaca...So well see when they get back to me. If they say call your agent or try to redirect me to them Im gonna snap out cause I clearly said they have no idea what Im talking about.

Okay today I got some answers for all who care!
I emailed LT as a stated in the last post. Today MY agent called me because they called her.
She didnt book DIRECTLY through Disney she went through LT. She CAN book through Disney but its cheaper for her and less fees if things need changed, shortened or added on. Wich we changed days, and changed names now 2 times.
So basically we are NOT getting the "packet"
She IS however going to give us all $15 gift certificates for PH, because they have those at the office for Las Vegas vacations, they have luggage tags there for some reason left over from last year, and they gave us a $50 credit on our Disney Credit Card.
Not too bad. I still am debating on calling Disney, or asking for those things when I get there. I just really want the special maps and stuff they send you.
Overall Im pretty happy now, better than I was the last few days!!

Not bad, Not bad at all!!!! I knew there HAD to be something behind this. It was a shame that your agent didnt know/ wouldnt tell you that she didnt book through Disney. I am glad that everything turned out for your benefit in the end though!!! BTW there arent any change fees booking with Disney outside of 45 day prior to your departure and any changes if they are within the 45 days prior to your departure, if the package price increases ( such as you add an extra day to your trip etc.) generally the change fee is waived by Disney. Belle
