How is the weather and the crowds the first weeks in February? I haven't been to Disney World in February in several years. My husband and I are contemplating visiting then and would love to hear any thoughts, reactions, etc. Thanks in advance!!!!!:sohappy:

The crowds are not bad in February. The weather varies from year to year (as it does everywhere). I notice that you are from Connecticut. Think of your weather around September-October, and you'll have an idea of what to expect.

You know I was starting to think I was the only person looking to go in Feb. I am going Feb 6 - 11 for The Great WDW Attraction-a-thon and have been trying to find any tips or posts about Feb and it does not look to bad right now:ROFLOL:

I went the week of v-day this past Feb and the weather was cool in the mornings and evenings. During the day it was in the mid 70s to lower 80s. It was perfect weather. I'm from Texas and am used to weather like that.

I went the first week of February of 2007. Crowds weren't bad at all, the only major wait at that time was Soarin. Of course now you have Toy Story to deal with, but who knows what the times will be at that point. But yeah, just avoid the holiday week and it'll be great.

All I can tell you weather-wise is BE PREPARED. When we flew in, it was hot and muggy as all get out, and that was around 7:30pm. That night... well, we slept. We got up the next day, of course we didn't check the weather and wore shorts and t-shirts, and it was absolutely FREEZING all day. Apparently there had been huge thunderstorms the night before that we slept right through and they took all the heat/humidity out with them. So IllumiNations was a blessing that night as the heat from the inferno barge brought feeling back to my arms (we were too determined to make it through our whole first day than go back to the hotel to change, and I was too cheap to buy a $60 sweatshirt that I knew I'd never wear again.)
Anyway we wore jeans and sweatshirts the rest of the week. Other than the chill factor, it was an awesome trip. And it didn't stop me from riding Splash Mountain multiple times in a row on an EMH night

I always go in February. :) It is a perfect time to go. Are you going on Valentine's Day? If so some restaurants usually have some special menus just for the day. Presidents week might get a little bit hectic, but it is calm. The weather is perfect, you may need to bring jackets just in case. Not too hot or cold. ;) Perfect month.

My first (and so far only but definately not last) was Feb 1-9. Being a CA girl I am used to 70-80 not humid and little bit of rain. That is exactly what we got. The crowd levels were FANTASTIC! I walked right onto Space Mountain, virtualy line free throughout all parks. My next trip will be at the same time of year.

ive been during feb break 18 straight years

The crowds can be busy around presidents day ,but the weather is great for the most part. Id say ive been lucky and its been upper 70's ,but we have had a couple years when it has been chilly. pack a sweatshirt just in case , but some days can be amazing., Have fun ill see you then!

We went the first week in Feb 07. I am very cold natured and froze most days were in the upper 60's low 70's evenings much cooler around 50-55. My b/f was loving the weather. Reminder that the Super Bowl may effect crowds since it will be in Tampa. Touring Plans dot com is predicting moderate crowd levels for that week. But I'd say go for it and have fun!

We usually go in February. This past February, in the week just prior to Presidents Day we found it to be very nice. We wore shorts every day, but the nights seemed to be chilly and jeans and a sweatshirt came in handy. Our next trip January 2009; (going so we get a 2nd use out of our APs) we are hoping the weather will be as good. :)

Crowds were minimal and many rides we could do over and over with little or no wait time. Our last day in the parks (Saturday), we found it the most crowded due to it being the President's holiday weekend. I think it rained one day on and off, but it was still a comfortable temp.
