Criticising before it’s opened, just because you’ve seen it elsewhere, seems a bit churlish to me. As if you want to lecture us.

I see the expansion as a good thing for WDS, even if it’s not perfect. It’s a start.

Since when was this a comment on WDS itself. It’s just strange to believe that a carbon copy of another forced perspective with arguably worse natural backing landscape compared to its twin will somehow work perfectly when its twin doesn’t work

That doesn’t mean I don’t think this isn’t good for WDS

I guess it depends what you mean by “doesn’t work” then. From a design pov, you’re probably right. The vast majority of guests won’t care though.

It’s part of a much needed expansion. It isn’t on a par with Pandora at AK, I accept that. But it will generate a lot of excitement, even if the forced perspective isn’t 100% effective.

Will it be perfect? No. But the ride will fit far better here than at Epcot. For a start the setting is Arendelle, not Akershus.

We understand that. Just confused as how we are supposed to judge how something will look based off internet pictures that generally aren't from the pov guests will see this from.

I’m trying to think of what in Paris’s design would make you think that it WOULD work differently considering all of Paris’s sightlines bar seeing it from outside the land mirror HK’s

I mean you are welcome to think how you like but “this land is copied from another land and in that copy the forced perspective doesn’t work” is more evidence than “it’ll work because I want it to work”

I’m not even putting down WDS here, arendelle is still a gorgeous land. It’s just that there is nothing in Paris’s design that indicates that they will have a different result for thus problem

I don't know. Perhaps you could tell is how you are doing that ?

I’m saying the only evidence we have one way or another is that the lands carbon copy it doesn’t work

If you believe Paris will work then please explain why. If your reason for not believing it doesn’t work in HK is that you haven’t seen HK how do you have a leg to stand on

Like I’m genuinely confused. Do you actually believe it will work or are you just angry that someone is quote unquote “talking down to you”. If it’s that then I’m sorry if I came off that way but I just don’t see any logic here beyond blind faith in the hope it works just because “well we haven’t seen it in Paris”

What is the so called “fact” that isn’t a fact that I’m spouting because now I’m confused that instead of answering why you think it will work better than HK you just keep claiming im spouting an opinion as though its a fact.

If this so called fact that isnt a fact is that it doesnt work in HK that isnt just my opinion; that’s noted in just about every review of arendelle in HK.

For me what I am most looking forward to is the long approach to Frozen/Arandelle. I've visited HK and TDS and for me the Frozen mountains/ice castle come out of nowhere without any build up. In HK Frozen appears suddenly as you apporach from either side and the land feels very cramped, likewise in TDS you just kind of turn a corner and it's there and it's not even a land it's a sub-land of Fantasy Springs.

I think it is comparative to Tower of Terror being at the end of Sunset Boulevard at DHS versus Tower of Terror being outside Studio 1 at WDSP. The former has such a great build up whereas the latter is just there when you exit Studio 1.

Pretty sure that's the definition of opinion, and that's what you seem to be missing here

I didn’t say the land doesn’t work. I said the forced perspective on the ice palace doesn’t work, the original origin of this topic. I have nothing but praise for the rest of the land in HK but I have yet to see a review of arendelle that doesn’t mention the wonky forced perspective on the ice palace

Would you prefer I say “I, the person who originally started this topic and every review I have read hold the shared opinion that the forced perspective on the ice palace doesn’t work the way it should”
